- I can only imagine the euphoria David Gates felt as this song flowed from his guitar.. I'm sure in his heart he wondered where it came from.. I hope he thanked the One who gave him, and all of us, this stunning gift. This was a request, and a great one.. Thank you for asking me for it. It's an honor to be able to perform it for you.
Just discovered Larry passed two years ago... Rest in peace legend, thanks for getting me into acoustic guitar.

Beautiful Job Larry! Really Love this song. Bread were very under-rated in my opinion. Very sad that 3 of the 4 members are no longer with us. With David Gates being the only one left, a reunion is now very unlikely.

Your voice is just so amazing and the way you play it. i'm glad to know you also play guitar and you have played songs of Bread 'If' and 'Aubrey'.
