The way you musically modulate the tragic-romantic, self-alienated, contrapuntal essence (hell, most people don't know what "romantic" means at all in the Platonic sense) of the likes of David Gates' "Aubrey" and Don McLean's "If" (your other video). Perfect play with genuine, quivering, naked understanding - of all the broken wings and cold fractals in the world, of a short-lived romantic soul almost too beautiful to live. I am a great fan of your work and your soul - and your very guitar. Can't ask for more! Thanks for simply being there in the musical universe, lending all your soul to such a lonesome, beautiful, strange, singular song. On a minor note, I was named after this song by my dad.

I quickly snapped a pic of the title, which was just "Aubrey", and it led me here! Your cover of it touched me musically/emotionally. Thank you!
