- Demonstration of the stunning Amberley Electric Loft Ladder, recently installed by Loft Boarding Scotland in Arbroath, near Dundee in Scotland.
This 55 degree Amberley looks more like a staircase than a set of ladders. It feels really solid and is huge compared to the other manual wooden ladders we normally fit.
The ladder and handrails are beautifully crafted from solid oak whilst the case is constructed from premium-grade structural birch-lined plywood.
If you want one though, you'll have to wait as there's a 10 week lead time! - Наука та технологія
That's an ingenious design but it's just made out of wood at the end of the day. Here in the USA, you can buy something similar that is made out of steel, has a 45 degree angle, and shipped to your door and installed for about 1/2 of what that wood one costs. It's made by Majic Stairs.
Gosh £10,000 is a lot but it does look superb quality.
Ive just had a pathetic loft ladder installed, fold down type. Ridiculously narrow at 14 inches wide, really small treads. What's worse is its practically vertical as the ladders are probably not the right length in order to get the right angle for safe climbing and descending. I really don't feel safe using it, never mind bringing stuff up to store in my loft, which is the only reason I wanted a ladder in the first place.
My ceiling is high, over 9ft..so now Im stuck with a pathetic wooden vertical ladder that is truly unsafe to use.
I am not a happy bunny!
Been scouring the internet but havent come across a good sturdy wooden, deep tread ladder😢
They cost more than the loft conversion itself lol .......
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
P.S. Im in Northern Ireland
You’ll have endless problems with that
This is best example for a RIPOFF
For £10,000 that is hideous.
Must be a typo … one too many zeros!
