In the anime, he just went Rose (which is his version of Super Saiyan). In the manga, he went Super Saiyan AND THEN Super Saiyan Rose (which is his version of Super Saiyan Blue)
So in the anime, he has just the one form. In the manga, he has both SSJ and SSJ Rose

It would make sense if rose was blacks super saiyan, since god sayians base form is super saiyan god, and their super saiyan is blue or rose.
That wouldnt make sense. Because in the manga, Black already had SSJ, It makes more sense that SSR is the same as SSB

For those who don't know, in the "Dragon Ball Park" segment of the November 2016 issue of _V-Jump,_ it's said that Super Saiyan Rosé is Goku Black's version of "Super Saiyan" (which is the primary name officials use to refer to the first golden-haired Super Saiyan form), and that Rosé's strength matches that of "Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan" (which is the original and still-primary name officials use to refer to Super Saiyan Blue), but this segment is specifically for the _Dragon Ball Super_ TV series.
The _Super_ manga series and some segments about the _Super_ manga series in other _V-Jump_ issues collectively indicated that Super Saiyan Rosé is Goku Black's version of Super Saiyan Blue (and it's only in the manga that Black entered the golden-haired Super Saiyan form).
So, the difference between the anime and manga versions of Super Saiyan Rosé is that the manga version is a merging of Super Saiyan 1 and Super Saiyan God (altered by Zamasu's divine ki), like Super Saiyan Blue, while the anime version is just Super Saiyan 1 (but also altered by Zamasu's divine ki), unlike Super Saiyan Blue. But, both versions apparently match Super Saiyan Blue in strength (with one supplemental source saying Rosé surpasses Blue in the TV series), and both versions ultimately serve the purpose of being Black's own "enveloped in divine ki like Super Saiyan Blue but pink-colored" Super Saiyan form. So the distinction between the anime and manga versions of Rosé isn't major.
Although, considering that the powers that be don't want to officialize the mergings of Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan 2 and 3 for some reason, that's probably why we got Super Saiyan Rosé 2, Rosé 3, and Rosé Full Power in the _Super DB Heroes_ series, which are primarily based on the TV series and the movies, but we still don't have "Super Saiyan Blue 2" and "Blue 3." The closest we have is Blue Evolution.
Goku Black could have kaikoken technique also but Goku didn't use against him. Reason is only seeing the glimpse of instant transmission he leaned it from Goku.
Honestly I feel like it makes more sense of Black’s Ssj Rosé to be Black’s equivalent to Ssjb since he did take the body of a Future Goku who already had Ssjg and Ssjb in another timeline. And for why he has Ssj2 and Ssj3 Rosé that could just be the equivalent of a possible Ssj Blue 2&3 since we know that’s definitely possible since if Goku and Vegeta could combine Ssj with Ssjg then why not the other levels? Don’t get me wrong I love both Manga and Anime Goku Black but I don’t want to see man’s being so overpowered in just his Basic Ssj form.
Heroes is like a 5 year old playing with action figures. It’s all over the place and almost silly. What I dislike about this is that they have some cool ideas, but these idea’s definitely won’t be pursued in the canon now, because Heroes sort of spoiled it.
I’m personally fine with it. Some of the stuff Heroes comes up with, I’m glad it’s not in official canon. There are a few cool ideas here and there that yeah, it would be cool to see canon-wise, but overall I think I’m fine with how it’s operating as a separate series

Yea i always saw it as the divine equivalent of SSB. We didn't need a Rose 2 or 3. At most, an Evolved version similar to SSBE where aura and hair is more crimson would've been dope.

I think Blue Evolution is either Grade 2 for Blue or Ssj 2 for Blue. thoughts? The hair is sharp like grade 2 for Vegeta so i was leaning towards that

i don't know why people talk about what it said in the manga vs the anime, one says it's his version of SSJ and one says it's his version of SSGSS/SSB but both of these statements are correct because of the way SSGSS and SSR work let's break it down SSGSS at its core is just SSG and SSJ combined it's what happens when a Saiyan goes SSJ using divine ki so, in essence, it is just a divine version of SSJ and SSR is just Goku Black's version of SSB But with more refine divine ki then it is still in essence just a divine version of SSJ which means theoretically the idea of SSR2 and SSJ3 are not misguided because if you can combine SSJ1 with SSG and get SSGSS or SSR then you should be able to combined SSJ2 and SSJ3 with SSG to get the same result

I dont understand why they said it was his version of super sayian. Its the same thing as blue if u think about it. Rose is super sayian with god ki, and blue is the same thing.
Why would they put it like that in the anime? Clearly, the writers really failed on that one. The form is clearly meant to be an altered/‘truly divine’ version of Super Saiyan Blue.
