Your mom did a wonderful job with the plants. The shade cloth is a great idea and should give just the right amount of protection from the sun. Feel better.

How beautiful are your plants looking ! Your mam is a real plants lover also and she did such a great job. I think it’s the first Tim I see such an amazing moonglow ! And I am jalouse of your stapelias ! The gymno and Astro blooming are so cute and I would l8ke to the name of this incredible tall cactus with pink flowers. I love it ! My husband left Paris this morning early to Jagodina (by car) for one week. I am so sad I couldn’t manage to go also… next time for sure ! Thank you Marija for this nice update of your Serbian collection and congratulations to your mam ! 🌵🌵🌵💚💚💚

Thank you Anna! The pink blooming cactus is called echinocereus paselgen. It’s so unique! Too bad you couldn’t come too. Enjoy summer and beautiful weather!

Hi love your collection by your mum she really takes good care of them. The astrophytums are lovely I remember when you cut that one and I thought it would have died.❤ thanks for the plant tour.

I was nervous too after I cut it 😄. Now I’m so glad I did. One of the growers explained to me that often they have very tiny base when grown from seed. Hence, she takes cuttings and resets them which gives them healthy and nice look.

Lovely Marija , thanks for showing us , one of my cats has been lying down next to me watching as well . Your plants growth is amazing there . I presume your plants in Serbia get no additional lighting . You r mum does an excellent job . Also I must have a Google at the weather in Serbia . Enjoy your stay snd visit with family and friends . Safe travels . ❤

Thank you! Your cat knows how to pick good content to watch 😆. No additional lighting and no heat in the apartment during winter, but since it is surrounded by walls of apartments that are heated it stays in upper 50s which is perfect for the plants. Yes, mom did a great job! Hope she doesn’t overwater them now when I leave. It’s so humid this spring and raining every day since I came that pants are drying less than normal. That may be little challenging for her as it was really dry in summer in the last years.

@@succulentlivingbymarija8872 it’s very like that with humidity in places such as Queensland snd Darwin . It’s probably more deadly for succs there in those more tropical / semi tropical areas with the succs absorbing the moisture in the air .
Forest knows good content when he sees it and enjoys watching with his mum 😽

I always get sick after long plane travel because of air conditioning, it is a sinus killer.... I had endoscopic sinus surgery 2 months ago and I feel so much better!!!

I’m sure that doesn’t help, but I think lack of sleep and exhaustion usually makes me more susceptible to infections

27:50 is a E. pseudoglobosa hybrid I believe, I have a few of them, all slightly different. Maybe hybridised with E. obesa? Lovely collection!
