I am facing Bluetooth issue with this asus vivobook s14 laptop
I am getting reverse stereo sound with all Bluetooth earphones, not with wired earphons and speakers, reverse stereo means i am getting left channel sound in right earbud (vice-versa), please help me with this problem. I even reset the pc but still problem is there
Have you tried installing a 16GB or 32GB module in the SO-DIMM slot?
Up to 40GB upgradable RAM sounds to good to be true ...
If I am not wrong then the max support memory for this Motherboard is 32...and 8 gb being soldered then 24 should be MAX
Can you test this laptop performance for these following applications.
1. Android studio

Should I opt for the MacBook Air M1 or the Asus, given that their prices are nearly the same on Flipkart?
Depends on your preference. Both are totally different.

It's Windows.. Can't expect to be Buttery Smooth all the time.
How well is this laptop performance in editing Full HD 1080 or 4k using premier pro?

Bro planning to buy this one yet i have confusion between the vivobook pro and this model, please help
If you need a Graphics Card then then Vivobook pro will be good...
(I avoided the pro because of the lack of Thunderbolt and the i5 12th gen performs better than Ryzen 7 5800H)
Which one is better among ASUS vivobook 14x OLED and this for photo and video editing?
14x for video Editing due to the Dedicated graphics Card. Photo Editing will be same on both.
Haven't yet reinstalled Windows 11. Intel's driver update works fine, have the latest Intel Bluetooth and Video drivers. The screen often blanks out, then returns. Connecting my bluetooth headset almost always fails and subsequently causes the laptop to restart.
Seems like an OS or a Motherboard issue

At fifty days out of warranty, my ASUS S14 laptop USB-C charging port simply quit being capable of charging the laptop. The port continued to be capable of data transfer for various USB accessories. Great video, It's suprising to see glossy screen wherein in the Asus offical website it is mentioned to have anti glare screen. Please do compare it with the latest HP PAVILION PLUS 14 Laptops and Asus Zenbook 14 Oled.
And provide your suggestions in 14 inch laptops category which has good display and latest processor.
The difference between the Zenbook and Vivobook as far as I researched while purchasing was Just the Trackpad which can be converted to the Numpad.. Which the Vivobook lacks but makes up by having a cheaper price tag.
(EDIT - More differences have a look at the below comments)
And No Idea about the HP PAVILION PLUS 14 although they seem to have a 20 Series Graphics Card with DDR5 Ram so it should be faster.. But I guess it will have a much higher price than the Vivobook
Please do further research, there is difference of plastic bezels in vivobook vs more premium glass or metal in zenbook.
And the bigger difference is zenbook has ddr5 ram while vivobook has ddr4.
Oh and I guess charger speed is also different.
@@kartikpareek4892 Still not worth the 15k price difference... The Zenbook is currently available for 90k and the Vivobook is available for approx 75k
I own vivobook S 14 only based on that, still I mentioned as you have said as per "your research that is the only difference"
Premium design, better back, far better hinge for typing are a few more subtle differences.
Price tag should be a person's choice but we as a reviewer should mention all the differences clearly 😀
@@Hastech77 oh and I forgot to mention, zenbook is 100 gms lighter and has better battery life since its a p processor ( processor is i5 but different.)
So for someone who has money, these 6 7 differences can be enough to give 13 14k extra since battery also is a big big factor
Till now do you have any problem and i heard that the laptop blink when you charge during your laptop usage is it a problem
No issues. That happens if you set your Refresh rate to reduce from 90 to 60 on Charging State change
Hello hastech, I final asus vivobook s14 intel evo h-series core i5 12500h" this laptop but in last time I discover
"Asus vivobook 15 i5 1240p"

S14 me evo certified and battery 6-8 hours,and backlit keyboard
These features exited me?
But i afraid to i buy laptop then feeling regret,
I earn money 3 years to buy laptop, please give me best suggestion
The ones you are mentioning are none of the ones I have reviewed. The one for 55k is the Non-Oled variant.
btw The i5 12500H is faster than i5 1240p
How is the battery life on it, it is evo certified yet I've seen some mentioning lower battery life along with heating issues while charging, plz do reply.
Yeah...The battery life can last like 6 hours...But that is high given the 2k Display ....the reviewers forgot to mention the 2k display with 90Hz....If you tone thay down to 1080p and 60 hz then it will last longer with lower brightness...
Intel Evo certification is for FHD res not QHD
So, in order to get the Evo badging, laptops:
>must run on Intel 11th gen Tiger Lake Core i5/i7 processors with Irix Xe graphics (or later, with 12th Gen Alder Lake hardware), with 8+ GB of RAM and 256+ GB of SSD storage;
>must provide consistent responsiveness on battery;
>must instantly wake from sleep (in less than 1 second);
>must provide 9 or more hours of real-world battery life (on laptops with a FHD display) and must be able to charge quickly over USB-C (4+ hours of battery life in under 30 minutes of charging);
>must include modern connectivity options: WiFi 6 (Gig+), USB-C with Thunderbolt 4, optional LTE;
>must include biometrics (IR cameras or finger sensor), Precision touchpads, backlit keyboards, 3-side narrow bezels around the display, good speakers, and a few other aspects inherited from the original Project Athena fact sheet.
Yeah... EVO is for 1080p (FHD)
It has thunderbolt port, so can I connect e gpu ? Can you tell about supported egpu
Theoretically Yes. The port is capable of an E-GPU

Fast forward to date the company has been offering me a 25% discount on part replacement which roughly comes to around 45,000/. Have you tried installing Ubuntu or any other Linux os. I am not able to install any of the Linux os. Keyboard does not work while installing. So I can't type anything during installation. It looks like this is a known issue. Wish I had known this earlier. I am yet to try Linux installation using external keyboard.
Try installing drivers.. I solved it with some googling
External Keyboard works perfectly while installing
@@Hastech77 do you mind providing solution here or any link to the solution. is this a Linux kernel issue? Do you think future Linux kernel updates should fix this issue.
@@skc556 I don't remember the exact solution link ...Try a normal update
@@Hastech77are you recommending to first install Ubuntu using external keyboard and once it's installed, then do apt update or update the driver?
@@skc556 That is the only eaey way ...
Unless you wanna go the Developer's way- install Ubuntu on another machine on a swappable NVME/stick install the drivers to the kernel, remove compatibility checks and then live boot it onto your Asus machine.
