I am speechless, the groove took all my words! Well done, players like you made me fall into love with bass guitar. Cannot wait to check more of your stuff! :)
Ma Charles, I saw your fender interview. You answered my question. Here’s my next question. I’ve been a pianist forever years but in the back of my mind Ove always wanted to learn to play bass, so guess what, I made it up in my mind to finally do it. I recently have been in the market for basses and I licked one up; Fender Jazz Bass and I’ve been playing it! Guys whom have been schooling me tell me,”you’re the first person I’ve seen pick up a bass and whom do not look down at his right hand to see which strong he’s playing.” I know about practicing. I play tenor sax and alto as well! However my big question do you have any special techniques besides practicing that help keep ones fingers from having “flying finger syndrome” or will it just come from playing -“NOT HAVING FLYING w OR SEE-saw fingers?”
Just gotta keep alert - watch for those flying fingers and get them where you want them by practicing slowly until the muscles become strong enough to be under control.
Ok Thank you Queen. Hey do me this favor. Hit me on my email. I want to show you something! I was told by a guy whom work at the guitar center named Julio,”man you are a natural. You do not look at your right hand like beginners and you use your thumb over the E strong naturally without thinking about it.....”. But take my email please since I got you online- jordanthomasfinancialllc@gmail.com
She has an exeptional ability to dig a very growly sound out of her gear. That is something that not every pro can do. Although they would be great bass players otherwise
Your a great musician Yolanda, very inspiring.
Oh yeah! I was there for this great performance! Yolanda’s tone and playing were devastating! And her band was on fire!
Awesome jam, love how the musicians play of each other. Great bass sound...

Man, I love that Dimension Bass. Unfortunately it's quite expensive. So probably I'll stick with the Squier version...

Yolanda, would you marry me on UA-cam? Right here, right now??? I LOVE YA!!!
Haha :)
Well. I guess that it was worth a try. Love ya anyway. AND, I love your bass groove. Smokin'!
Good bass playing, dodgy camera work.
I don't know the younger sister of Michelle Obama was a bass player!!!
