Thank you, this is the best instruction about service motion that I've seen
This is a really good video to watch. Thank You
Thank you, it's simple and effective !
Aesthetic service motion 👍
Thank you 🙏
Absolutely love this! I’m going to watch over and over again and practice all of these until I get the serve I desire. Thanks!!!
I just started tennis lessons. First tip sounds interesting. I am going to try it.
Alex, even if you did not hit your target, those are still great serves!😀😀
Thank you, was so close i definitely started to find my accuracy!
Very good exercises. Thanks👍
Glad you like them!
Can you do an analysis for Tommy Paul serve
I found it very simple and fluid
thank you
Great coaching tips 🤙🤙🤙
Glad you enjoyed it
Alex- Are you using the Extreme MP or Tour racquet ? What do you think of it? And how is your English National Player going?
Using balls to drive over is a good way to have a catastrophic injury. Use something that you can land on safely.
True can be dangerous but we are not trying to land on it, no greater motivator 💪
@@TopTennisTrainingOfficialno pain no gain 💪
Yeah, a great motivator while you are sidelined on an ankle injury which could result in an irreparable damage like torn/pulled ligament 😵💫🤦🏻♀️
@@shilo7895 don’t hit the balls, easy
Let's let him jump. )) not to land on balls is surely most important in tennis serve))
Awesome video!! Any reccomendations for people with pain in the knees? I’m not old I’m 17 but I almost can’t always get my leg drive because from playing too much tennis my knees hurt really bad not sure if it’s like patella tendon or jumpers knee. Constant problem for me though it hurts when I sprint too. It’s right below the knee cap I hit serves in the 90s and I think low 100s and I feel that I’m held back by this knee problem
Fix posture. Learn posture, this takes years, no professional can do it for you. Learn what’s wrong with your posture and do not exceed your bodies ability
@@FOURTEEFIVE posture with what? During the serve? Posture like ways I’m using the legs? What does this mean
Could be Iliotibial band syndrome too. I have similar pains and impact. Overall must be some type of tendinitis. First advice would be to go with a orthopedist. Most likely you'll need to strengthen some muscles, to do better warm up and cool down, perhaps hot/cold therapy and yes... rest. Good thing you are young, with proper care you'll be great soon; in my 40s it's taken me years 😅 though now that I think about, haven't done anything I just said, so there's hope!😝
Are you available for intensive programme of serve training?
Definitely not a baseball player :D But great tennis drills. Will give a try
You should!
Ivo used to serve with a 2-finger grip and I have found with 3-fingers its often better than a full grip. On kick serves though its not the case. Out of interest though Alex, what is your fastest serve speed?
Yes keeps it a lot more loose! Yes on kick serves it can fly out of your hand. My fastest serve was 132mph in 2010 😁
Can you please do a video on the biometrics of the ball toss? And I'm not talking about the standard instruction of keeping your arm straight, not using the joints wrist elbow etc.. because I do all that but my toss is still all over the place. My toss is inconsistent in terms of hight, place, point of release etc..Also, I can't seem to toss the ball without it spinning in the air. I have seen many videos addressing the serve mechanics but the toss doesn't seem to get its fair share. If the toss is not there, then all else don't matter. Thank you.

Thanks Alex, great drills! Not sure about jumping over balls! I’ve had enough injuries! How about my coaches wallet!!😂
Haha maybe towards the end of the day when it’s fat and full of cash 😂
Great point, just use a floor line markers
Luckily you are not a baseball player, your throwing motion looks terrible ;-)
But the video is a great help to learn the tennis serve, thanks a lot for your great work
Haha well its more of a tennis serve throw rather than a baseball throw 😁 and thanks for the support!
How far can you throw it? Good servers can usually get high on the back fence or over it
@@mattiastennis After a good warm up and a run up i could probably do it 😁
A baseball throw is different than the tennis throw baseball throws are forward while tennis throw is upward to recreate serve there’s multiple videos on this
@@colinbyer3018 Yes but its a good way to warmup the serving motion and see who has the furtherest throwing distance
great drills except the part when you have to clear the balls with your feet. dangerous.
For sure, but motivated me to jump over them 😁
