@@IndustrialParrot2816 that was the same for me before I played it about 6 months ago on Dolphin emulator. It’s very different, but both games are complete gems in their own way.

Super Paper Mario is my all time favorite game, but I feel like as far as underrated goes, I'd say Color splash fits that. It gets a lot of hate for being a sticker star clone, but I really enjoyed it for whatever reason, maybe I have no taste for art, but idk I kinda liked it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Always good to see acknowledgement and love for SPM. Such a fun and unique game with one of my favourite soundtracks in the Mario franchise and this song in particular set the pace for the adventure as well, playing off the motifs of SMB1 and SMW. Nice arrangement too!
The amount of HQ remixes of Super Paper Mario music is disturbingly low. Besides GaMetal and Noteblock, can't think of much who cover multiple tracks from this game. Thank you for contributing to this low amount!
Like the thing is, the compositions of SPM are some of the best in Mario RPG history but not so much the arrangement side, that's where The Origami King thrives. TOK also has strong compositions anyway, that's why I say it's peak Mario RPG OST, even surpassing any brilliant Yoko Shimomura OST's of Super Mario RPG and Mario & Luigi series, but tbf, she was involved in The Origami King.

i was JUST listening to the super paper mario soundtrack WHAT this is exactly what i imagine an official remaster of the music would sound like. its insanely faithful and keeps the exact same bouncy feel of the original. and all those sexy strings. i hope you consider doing more of the spm soundtrack in the future!

I had no idea what track this was going to be since I haven't played this game in over a decade (and probably much longer), but as soon as the track started at 14 seconds I instantly recognized what it was. I love this game. Well done as usual!
My favorite part about this is it sorta sounds like it uses the same sount font as something like Origami King. If Super Paper Mario got a remake (please) this would feel right at home.

My goodness, this is phenomenal!! I love the instrument choice here. The violin and woodwinds, the sprinkling of chiptune sounds here and there - and the Super Mario World section sounds amazing with that subtle clavinet in the background. It almost sounds like how this song would be interpreted in the Color Splash/Origami King style!
Absolute BANGER of an arangment, I don’t normally like remixs of songs that have that remake feel (change the instruments but not much else) but the instrumentation is SO GOOD in this remake that I like it more than the original. Amazing job.

This is one of the few times, as someone who isnt very well verse in music, that I have actively noticed how fantastic the mixing is. Everything is super clear in a way that makes it sound so right and satisfying.
I don't care what anybody says, Super is the real Mario Story 3. But I'm still open to a traditional Mario Story 4 instead of Paper Mario/Sticker Star 4.

Ah I can feel the Childhood Nostalgia washing over my very soul. I had this game as a child it was my very first Wii game I played it loved it in fact it played to the point of the disc being scratched up to the point of being unplayable which sucks but not to worry I downloaded a new version from the Wii U Eshop. THough I am thinking about repairing it in the near future.
Note to the comments: No SPM is not underrated lol. Like half the comments are people claiming nobody loves this game - that alone should tell you your statement is false. It's not really a main line PM game though, it's just a one time spin off that was tossed out to the Wii, that was supposed to be on GCN but kept being delayed due to development difficulties. It's not a great game, then again none of the PM titles past the GCN are.

The gameplay may be a it different (not a bad thing) but the story is definitely the most intense out that the first two
