Sorry for overreacting, but I literally cried whenever the Galaxy motif hit. Super Mario Galaxy and Dream Team are my two favorite games of all time; debatably tied for first. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Ms. Noble, your work means more than you realize, literally made my day.
Man, I’m so glad due to the Brothership hype we’re getting more Mario & Luigi Love throughout the World! Though, at least for me Dream Team seems to be getting a lot of hype for some reason as well? Idk if I’m wrong or not but it seems like it.
Dream Team is the best M&L game for me. A lot of people complain about its length, but I’d argue that gives it more time to flesh out its characters and setting, which I think it does really well. On top of that there’s notably more banter between the bros and their companions this time around. The battle system is also arguably at its best here and works really well just about all the time *cough giant Zeekeeper cough phase 3 giant Bowser cough*. DT has some of the best bros attacks the series has seen imo and they all feel really good and fun to use. The enemies are also very well designed and the dream world twist on combat is a very nice change of pace. Lastly, the M U S I C. BIS may have some really good tracks, but the ost peaked with DT imo. The pleasant and catchy tunes of the Island and their relaxing dream world counterparts work very well alongside the peppy and energetic tunes of combat. TLDR: this game absolutely rules and deserves all the love and attention it’s getting.
