It was crazy how quickly Colonial Christians worked to spread their religion, while Muslims were geographically proximate, though natural barriers did exist.
Muslims who entered Sub-Sahara Africa unfortunately had other ideas than to do dawah...
We have dawa group on the ground in that area. Alhamdulillah I am part of it. We have teachers on the ground and building masjid and madrasa. There is a sheikh named habib lencha and he is doing an amazing work in this area Alhamdulillah. He put hundreds of these tribes kids in madrasa and working really hard

Your actions doesn't throw you from the fold of Islam it just make you a sinner if you deliberately do that while having the knowledge that it's wrong.
Major thing that can throw a Muslim out of the fold of the Islam, is associating partners with the One God.
Allah SWT judge people based on the revelation they got in their life.
What they already did was past, and entering Islam eradicates past sins, so what's the point of reprimanding them, when they learn Qur'an and sunnah they'll know right from wrong, lip plate will end in due course. Like many tribal people who used to have more than four wives, reduced them to four obviously by letting go. So don't doubt them, insha'Allah ALLAH SWT guided them to enter ALLAH SWT will increase there emam, it's not men who guide, it's ALLAH SWT, men are but a tool, or beneficiaries of the process.

The time of preaching and driving the ppl into chaos in Africa is over. That was 200 hundred yeas ago. These ppl should have a permissio to do preaching to ppl. We do not know what they bring to the ppl and to the whole country tomorrow. The gov should give clear instructions to the guides.
