Wow just came across this video. You are actually in my area. Haha! OK so the reason the top of that Eclipse was chopped off is due to my friend. A big tree branch fell and crushed a big part of her roof. Another friend found that car in Sherwood and had her guy come out and cut it off. He welded it to her car and did such an amazing, flawless job you can't even tell the branch ever fell on her car.
I’m currently doing this but the bolts are just to hard, could you explain what tool you used to take out the big bolt at the top? And what bolts where unscrewed for the whole thing to come out? Thanks and can’t wait for the build!
@@RotaryDaddy yea I made it more difficult in my mind when I removed mine prepping the body for paint, left them for last but then it only took me bout 20 min, now reinstalling after paint ill have to wait and see.
So this is a plug in play? Other than the ebrake lines need to be used . All the lines and bolts will go right in? Its not like a honda where you need to switch to a 40/40 proportion brake valve
Both parking brake and softline need to be from a rear disc car. I have not done too much research on the differences in the proportioning valves, they may very likely be different but with all of the brake upgrades I have planned on this thing there is likely a lot more that I'm going to have to mess with tbh
If you don't have them they can be adapted and there are writeups on the forums about it but if you're alreadt out getting the stuff from a junkyard it's definitely worth it ro get them if you can. Saves on cutting time and overall jenkiness of the install and to me that's worth it!

You can install the handle with the window installed just have to have that window up!

So the 1999 Mitsubishi eclipse have a drum brake in the rear?
Only the rs models!
Would getting drum discs help with getting coil overs ?
No difference, the suspension is the same but if you do it at the same time it'd be an easy time to install the coils
