Granite voltage is a great little truck, swapped my brushed over to brushless and its just simple fun

Ordering 2 Super Rock Reys. I already have one. That is almost 2 for the price of one. I already know what parts need upgrading so I'm ordering those at the same time. This is a steal. I love the Super Rock Rey. It has its flaws like every RC car. Once you fix those flaws it's a beast with paddle tires at Glamis or any sandy beach.
Enjoy. It has its quirks, but it’s an adrenaline drive for sure.
Im about to get one through this deal as well. Been wanting this truck for a while and that price is a steal. What flaws does it have and what parts do you recommend changing out first to make it better?

HORIZON was out of stock on the Super Rock Rey but Tower Hobbies had some so I got the white one.😁
Tower has the brushed MT10 for $175. Could not pass that up.
Same here....added my own brushless motor and programmable ESC and came out cheaper than buying the brushless version....love the truck...great performer and reliable.

Horizon Hobby emailed me the Arrma Gorgon was back in stock. I put in the order , and two weeks later still no sign of shipment. I called customer service several times , and finally got a live person to respond. " sorry but the item you ordered is out of stock ". However, their website still showing it is in stock. They should change their name to Horrible Hobby . My new Arrma Gorgon kit, and the blue one are on the way from Amazon .

I phoned Horizons offices, they said they will come to my house and punch me in the face, ive been a big fan ever since. Im now a lifetime customer.

They burst out laughing 😃, and said they would send a free pack of body pins.
I've been buying their cars ever since.

I bought 2 of them. $199. Horizon sent me a 3rd one free lol. I don't know what happened but I wasn't complaining.
I have two of those chargers… they are very easy to use (idiot proof) and if that’s the one that talks to you… that’s pretty cool too. Just a nice performer.

God we get robbed here in the UK, just looking at prices on horizon and we pay on average $150 more on the stuff that's over $500
Example kraton exb is $699 here in England it's £750 so about $850
Pisses me of paying a fortune for stuff
3s Typhon is $329 here in UK it's £329 that's $420 so hundred dollars more than if you buy it in the usa
But there's some great deals to be had there for you American's, especially the Lazer nut
Same in EU stores. And they give discount only once a year. And than rc cars are never cheap as in US.
That's same for everything. The USA dollar is stronger then euro because most everything is far cheaper in the USA. The iPhone for example cost 20% less in the USA. RC trucks and electronics cost half what you pay in euros and that's in USA dollars.
$259 for Arrma granite blx . What do you Brits pay for that $500?
Good deal on the lasernut. If it drives at all like the DB Pro, that's a steal.
FYI, that 155 charger doesn't have a storage setting. Kinda worthless to me.
The g2 smart battery’s have a smart discharge/storage charge where they will discharge themselves to a storage level I think like 30-40 percent
Lasernut is absolutely ass doesn't matter what you do you're gonna rebuild the diffs like 3 times a year atleast

Horizon refuses to answer the phone. My lhs says they are having problems with horizon. Horizon now states 72 hour phone call return. People on internet said horizon fails to call back.
It's not 1997...email them

They should all be discounted. I don’t believe I saw any limits.
Just grabbed the hammer rey and machete on sales i couldn't pass up and then the proboat blackjack 42 so im officially rc tapped out. But alot of great deals!

@rcdriver Well it wasn't really on sale lol. It was cheaper on Amazon at only $599 instead of $650 other places. It's my first boat! And I'm lucky to live on a lake 20' from the water so made sense. Fiqured to go big for my first one!
Laser nut has no shortage of desing flaws. Does it come with free parts to fix the design problems and weak points.

a lot of them have been fixed since launch and at this point really just need to shim diffs out the box and its great ive been running mine for months without issues with a 6s typhon motor in it

Does anyone have a 7 scale arrama and what do you think of it. How difficult is it to obtain parts. Thinking about taking the big dive into 7 scale this spring.
The 1/7th scale arrmas are decent. I have a Mojave exb. Some of the exb parts may become harder to find. I'd say it just depends what ur looking to purchase. Some cars are better than others and they all have a purpose .

I would get the Super Rock Rey for $599, but i already have 3 of them. The other i WOULD buy but not going to is the Lasernut. I already bought 4 RCs in the last month. I would rather get my brother a RTF Blade helicopter and will be my next RC purchase. That being said, the heli i am referring to has a Smart battery in the kit and a Smart charger would be nice....if it was a dual charger though.

Granite 3s needs an update. The slipper clutch is a no go.
The p2 charger is really nice. Great deal on that. The spektrum firma 1/24 motor and ESC are straight garbage. Do not buy. Is a ripoff even at 40$

Yeah I am hearing bad things about Horizon right now reading different comments throughout different channels I hope what I'm reading is not true I find myself on one side of the spectrum myself not able to get Losi parts anymore let alone having Horizon Hobby answer a phone or return an email I really wonder what's going on behind the scenes
They just sent me out replacement parts no problem via customer service online
Not sure why my comment keeps getting deleted but Horizon has good customer service via their website its not that hard.

The laser nut is tempting at 350. Got the roc hobby jeep for 200 and now horizon is having customer service issues.

For everyone tryna call horizon. Don’t. They want u to email them. They’re I’ll get back to u within a day or 2. Coworker blew his diff on his infraction n less than a week he received a new one. This was like a week ago.
Horizon/Tower screwed me over royaly. Im not buying from them anymore. The attitude that came with it was appauling, Basically got me for $400 and said they dont have to do anything about it. Never pre order anything from them and would recomend not buying at all. I buy mine from second hand dealers.
How did they get you for $400?
@@darriusholt my pre order was considered "lost in the system" was charged 3 times for it, said they couldn't do anything about it, had to call my bank and have them put a stop on anything from horizon, took 2 months to get my money back but also caused $70 of overdraft fees. Tower said they will not refund me and there was nothing they could do. Wells Fargo covered it thank God. Took 2 months tho
Why did horizon flush customer service down the toilet. Picked up a new roc hobby 6 scale jeep. First 20 minutes or could be 10 in a clean garage floor the rx failed and a part broke and now horizon fails to take calls and my lhs ordered the part from hot racing so they would not be forced to deal with horizons new i dont care about customer service attitude. A 72 hour call back is unsatisfactory after all the rc machines we have bought from them. Time to buy from amain.
Only way can sell to lame parents that think rc is for kids only.
RC madness frustrates me it's a cool place but staff is horrible not friendly don't like to answer questions not a good place to go if you are a noobie to the hobby the rich regulars will get on you like a Karen on Sundays no help what so ever
