Ah...I miss Yogya. I know there are many galleries and crafting shops, but we were so occupied at that time with eating and sight seeing....and even more eating 😊. Thanks for the vid.
This is fun, and worth every penny and minute for the material and instructor. ♥ Strap looks very good and comfortable. Was there any option to use a sewing machine, to make reinforcement stitchings ?
I don't think there's sewing machine available. The instructor did suggest me to do some stitching, but I decided not to as the threads there wete overly thick to my liking.
Looks very nice, well done Ashley! Looks like a fun activity. I think a tapered strap would have gone better with the Hamilton, but I understand it would have been probably much more difficult to cut it right.
Definitely a nice leather strap for that watch! Also super nice to make a part of our lovely timepieces!
Cool strap and it’s personally made!
You are marvelous, sweetie❤
Damn! You got skills!
Nice, I think you have done a great job with the finishing.
Thank you Andrew!
Well done Ashley!
Looking great with your Husband's Hammie!🌄
Thank you!! 😊Am happy with the result!
😃😃👍👍👏👏Bravo bravo. Good job. Keep it up!
Thank you!
Great job! I really enjoy watching videos of people working with leather, leather is such a good looking material for so many different things.
Yes it's fun! Am still thinking whether to get some leather tools just to have fun with it myself or not..
@@ashleytee I wanted to do the same. I wanted to make myself a leather wallet, but I thought it would become an expensive hobby. 😅
@smokeyb7120 yes! And the watch hobby alone is expensive enough already!
Great job! A strap that you make is so much more meaningful than anything you can buy.
That's so true
That's amazing!
Thank you!!

Thanks for the vid.
Ah yes... I truly enjoyed their bakmi over there 😉
Looks professional, for perspective, there is a leather phone bag workshop in PJ here and it costs RM350.
Yeah, PJ is a bit pricier compared to here. This area in Yogyakarta specializes in leather goods, maybe that's why it's more reasonably priced.

It's a tapered strap actually but probably not as obvious. And yeah, I can't seem to cut it nicely!! Haha
Out of material/finishing quality , the color quite match the watch.
Without any stiching, i wonder it would last longer
Yeah I'm not sure how long will it last too..
Every watch has a story, now this strap does too. And it's a much better story than 'I got the strap on Amazon.'
It sure is! Thanks for watching Keith!
the watch strap needs some stitching
Yeah the teacher suggested that, but it was too late so I thought I will just make do of it
