Copyright is definitely one of the worse BS man ever invented. I could understand it to some extent, but it becomes ridiculous if someone started suing left and right just because someone used a specific color, or someone played a certain drum line in their music.
Naturally, not everyone will have originality. If that's the case, then we would've been multiplanetary specie already, maybe even galactic. lmao
For me it's clear, the original creator, the one that AI based its work, shouldn't have the right since it's made by an AI, unless it's awfully similar. Why tf don't they sue Chinese companies then? China have stolen a fkton of technologies all around the world and made them as their own. AIs are at least creating something actually brand new.
The way I see it, they can go fk themselves, specially those talking about Copyright crap while they themselves did it as well, by basing their work off of someone, or in common words, "inspired" by someone.
If a human tells a AI rude,unsutable or deceptive image the human is responsible for doing so.
I am certainly not surprised that the sharks in the "legal" profession are going after AI companies, that's where the money is right now. It never fails. They claim to be defending rights, when in reality that's the last thing they care about. These lawsuits will only ensure that the legal sharks are well-fed and that AI competition is narrowed to just the ones with the big pockets to win these cases.
As for copyright there is an exception for transformative work and most of the time it's different enough beyond that I think it's up to the human posting it to make sure they don't post something to close to the copyrighted material.
The one responsible for what the AI does is the one who gave the order.
Not watching the AI you gave an order to should be treated like not watching a little kid.

Yeah, "Everyone". The use of that inheritly inaccurate but very often published word makes me think the script was written ... using generative AI.
They can take my data because if I didn't want it knowen I would not posy it to the AI no one should expect information on the internet to stay private

@@henningkemner1833 no its more like summoning a reflection of ourselves that is better in every way that will decide if we have a utopia or a dystopia it can be either a demon or a angle depending on the reflection of humanity's collective.
Generative AI should be treated as a powerful tool that can help solve many problems, not only create problems to some groups of people.
