Man, something like this happened to me! My then close friend was dating someone and I had a bf too! I guess my friend started slipping, meaning she lost her job, wouldn't go to school and such. So her bf ended up comparing me to her basically saying she should be more like me, but I had no clue that conversation had occurred so I noticed there had been a change in our friendship and she would cop an attitude. After they broke up she confessed to me what had happened and I let her know that I'm sorry that happen to her, but it was not my fault that he said that. He should have never compared her to me or anyone for that matter because that diminishes her worth. I ended up letting go of that friendship because I didn't think it was right that she was mad at me for something I had no control over and was not my fault.

Girl! I had a similar situation to this. (The car ride to Denny’s) my “friend” was trying to kick it to some dude. He was someone we knew but not like that, y’know? But anyways, she went to sit in the passenger seat so I sat in the back with the dude (like what the f*** was I supposed to do) anyways the next day she called me a phony and blah blah blah. All because she was “testing my loyalty”. Apparently I was supposed to suggest for her sit next to him in the back. Like what?!?! like I was heading to the passenger side and she power walked passed me to get there first! I was supposed to just know this was a test for me to beg her to sit in the back so she can be next to dude man? Omg girls are crazy as hell sometimes.

This is exactly the reason why I won’t go out with friends if I’m in a bad mood, or if they’re in a bad mood. Nothing good will ever come out of it.
My bff in college used to tell me she didn’t understand why guys would approach me when we went out but never her. And honestly, she was beautiful BUT she wasn’t approachable because she never smiled or made eye contact with strangers and really always looked like she was mad. So finally I just told her my opinion and she was like “oh...well, I can see that.” It didn’t hurt her feelings and she started checking herself afterward and things changed. I’m one of those people that always look at people and smile and have always been good at making friends with complete strangers, and IMO that’s an attractive quality regardless of how you look. Anyway, my point is: your face is the first thing a person notices about you, so if you’ve got a pissy look on your face, people aren’t going to want to talk to you lol
