Really cool song, why the hell wasn't it included on all versions of Chaosphere? Would have been a really sweet change of pace for album. And why isn't it at least on the Reloaded version, or Rare Trax? Would be really nice...
How I wish Meshuggah return to some of this dreamy-jazz like stuff in between his technical low-tone dissonant polyrythim grooves (blah, blah, Extreme, blah... Djent). The best way can I describe it, is like the calm before the storm or like the eye of an hurricane you know.
Agreed, it's a pity they didn't put this on chaosphere as a "calm after the storm" song, they should have cut "elastic" at 6:00 minutes and then put this song as the last.
@@Slayyyer84 I saw an interview where Haake said it felt weird to have this, "breathing" song after the extreme onslaught that was chaosphere. I think it would have worked but I can also see his point and what they were trying to go for.
they were absolutely godly back then, still are, but in a different way.. i wish we could somehow see what would happen if they kept developing music similar to DEI and chaosphere.. but thats not how music works.. I love koloss though ive gotta say, favourite album from meshuggah since chaosphere
@Andragon90 ok, i definately hear it in the intro, then it turns into blues.....some AIC songs make me feel that way, the ones that drag, the ones that are pessimistic and whining, the ones that i know only took 5 minutes to put together... low tolerance for that stuff...not rude, honest...
@DiscoRByrno Just because someone is a legend, does not mean that legendary status is deserved... Leo Tolstoy is a legend of Russian literature and "War and Peace" is shit, no matter, what anyone else says... Dostoevsky is a legend who deserves that status, "Crime and Punishment" was awesome. Slayer have their awesome parts and their bad parts. The awesome ones happened to be extremely important at that time in metal, so they became legends. They're a good band, but not a godly one.
@jabadubadiu98 or it could mean a drift into nothing...the instant or gradual negation of anything into nothing. or an indecribable quality, essence or entity still possible to be experienced but not able to be comprehended logically or compartmentalized in any way...
we know how they developed DEI and chaosphere...nothing came about:)and by the way...some stuff in this song here...is very similar and is quite obvious from the track called transfixion ,of the destroy erase improve album
@dickyp1 Ugh. I have no idea why I said LHL. I actually meant "I Can't Remember." After listening again, ICR and Unanything sound similar, but definitely not the same. LHL was on my mind for some reason. Oh and there was no need to be rude bout AIC's music with "kill me and get it over with." :/
@Mappersmusic but then you've labeled it silent and it something. unanything, something absent of all and any descriptions, characteristics, labels...even nothing is different unanything because then you've given it a quality: being nothing. The genius of meshuggah.
@Andragon90 how do you hear alice in chains in this?? the chord structures are nothing alike....LHL is 'root to dominant 7' ...2 chords going back and forth like a depressed pendulum on the verge of death...kill me and get it over with... Unanything uses diminished structure with major 3rd added in the solos for color....the color of sound....theory...learn theory...open your ears...and pay attention to what you're hearing from a theoretical stand point, the two songs are polar opposites...
it was supposed to be right before Elastic, would've been a nice breather right before one final onslaught on the ears, guess they wanted Chaosphere to solely be chaos though
@schmorganic lol? Theres people all over the planet exterminating* as your say the whales. and Japanese scientists have also worked with many nations scientists to save species like Bluefin Tuna.
Should've been on Chaosphere.
Cut elastic at around 6 minutes in and then this song as a calm after the storm...
yeah kinda like odsidian is on nothing
Digital transcendence. Whenever I listen to these songs my spaceship enters into hyperspace.
Yes cpt. Thoordendal, it's time to voyage to infinity.
Meshuggah is God's music.
This is a bonus track on the japanese version of Chaosphere
marco cichella It was also track 6 on the Chaosphere promo CD.
What love sounds like when spoken in metal
Cool song! The clean guitar part reminds me of Seasons in the Abyss.
Never heard this before. Could be a sequel to Acrid Placidity!
I want this song to playing when i breathe my last breaths.
DecayedOfferings same...same
Cool piece. I hear a little Seasons in the Abyss.
MrGeorgFTW Your profile pic is epic. Ocean Machine is an incredible album!
top 3 devin's album
Really cool song, why the hell wasn't it included on all versions of Chaosphere? Would have been a really sweet change of pace for album. And why isn't it at least on the Reloaded version, or Rare Trax? Would be really nice...
huh?! never heard this one before. Loving it!
Meshuggah more songs like this please!
Hopefully this is on the Chaosphere 25th Anniversary release
such a beautiful, powerful piece.
Soothing and brutal. Bliss.
*HEAVY BREATHING*

Yes a chaotic period
Thats why they named it Chaosphere
They Move Below. Nuff said...
Holdsworth-esque;
instrumental meshuggah is best meshuggah.
they were absolutely godly back then, still are, but in a different way.. i wish we could somehow see what would happen if they kept developing music similar to DEI and chaosphere.. but thats not how music works.. I love koloss though ive gotta say, favourite album from meshuggah since chaosphere
@sLObZenOnMyNObzen
also found on the Chaosphere promo CD
Beautiful. Just what i needed.
:O
I had never heard this one before. Thanks for the upload!
I’m here from looking up UnAnything Wiki
Majestic.
Splendid.
Why didnt Meshuggah make music for StarCraft?
SCV, good to go, sir.
The GOATS
@vanishy0urself
Well, I think compraing Slayer and Meshuggah is very stupid, both have created something new to metal. Let's just enjoy both bands!
Wrong cover, but, hey.
@Mappersmusic If the album title of 'Nothing' would say anything about the album, there'd be nothing on it. >.
Wowy there
@admydragon for a split second, there is a kind of seasons sound to it, but these are definitely different, and both amazing.
@MegadetH179 That is true... well I can safely say that I've learned something today. Thankyou
My life makes sense again...
I cannot find this song anywhere. Wtf? Not even iTunes, Amazon, or eBay have it.
This should be the soundtrack to "The Terminator".
I wish this was on the normal album
@violet3mpathy Yep.
FIRST ZERO HAD A WIKI CALLED UNANYTHING, AND NOW A SONG CALLED UNANYTHING???? WHAT!!!!
Ok Anything Wiki-stan
and vanished from destroy erase improve..
Okay why do I hear the song "I Can't Remember" by Alice in Chains in that intro?
@DiscoRByrno Just because someone is a legend, does not mean that legendary status is deserved... Leo Tolstoy is a legend of Russian literature and "War and Peace" is shit, no matter, what anyone else says... Dostoevsky is a legend who deserves that status, "Crime and Punishment" was awesome.

@sc4v3ng3rSST this is off the japanese release of chaosphere
@DiscoRByrno I was gonna reply to vanishs's comment but you already got rid of that problem, props to you for seeing reality :p
I see what you did there...
acrid placidity
@sLObZenOnMyNObzen but in space, no one can hear you unless you scream.
@jabadubadiu98 or it could mean a drift into nothing...the instant or gradual negation of anything into nothing. or an indecribable quality, essence or entity still possible to be experienced but not able to be comprehended logically or compartmentalized in any way...
@sc4v3ng3rSST sounds similar, but tha song is on the album destroy erase improve
Sounds like something off South of Heaven by Slayer to me for some reason.
we know how they developed DEI and chaosphere...nothing came about:)and by the way...some stuff in this song here...is very similar and is quite obvious from the track called transfixion ,of the destroy erase improve album
@Slashe50 Yeah, If you yell like Jens does!
For a second there I thought I was listening to Slayer...
@dickyp1 Ugh. I have no idea why I said LHL. I actually meant "I Can't Remember." After listening again, ICR and Unanything sound similar, but definitely not the same. LHL was on my mind for some reason. Oh and there was no need to be rude bout AIC's music with "kill me and get it over with." :/
aren't they?
@jk47hm4 Yeah but Sgt. Jens keeps fucking screaming at me, so I shit myself already
@Mappersmusic but then you've labeled it silent and it something. unanything, something absent of all and any descriptions, characteristics, labels...even nothing is different unanything because then you've given it a quality: being nothing. The genius of meshuggah.
i mean just vanished...and acrid placity...NOT transfixion:)my god..i made up my mind now:)
@Slashe50 LMFAO!!! awesome comment!! ;)
@noizza Noice comment.
@Andragon90 how do you hear alice in chains in this?? the chord structures are nothing alike....LHL is 'root to dominant 7' ...2 chords going back and forth like a depressed pendulum on the verge of death...kill me and get it over with...

wtf this song is awesome just like your comments!!
@00012WW some good shit right :)
This should actually be silent if the title says anything about the song.
@schmorganic Uuumm... K?
@sLObZenOnMyNObzen No, space doesn't sound this awesome.
@jk47hm4 This is the best comment ever. Thank you.
I am all for bonustracks, but sometimes the bonustracks are at least as good as the main tracks..and ought to have been included..
it was supposed to be right before Elastic, would've been a nice breather right before one final onslaught on the ears, guess they wanted Chaosphere to solely be chaos though
This isn't from Nothing...
@schmorganic lol? Theres people all over the planet exterminating* as your say the whales. and Japanese scientists have also worked with many nations scientists to save species like Bluefin Tuna.
I wish Meshuggah were still this good. :(
hear the last album.
They're evolving.
Unfortunately their somber piece on the violent sleep of reason occurs during the end of stifled and beginning of nostrum. It isn't it's own track...
they do have awesome melodies, this is even better than acrid placidity
Not rare, this track is from the Chaosphere album
Only on the japanese version.
Compare. Two different songs.
bell off
@dickyp1 So you don't appreciate AIC's music. So, let's bash it and call it "whining." Grow up.
@admydragon hahahahahah lololol is bad
dude your username is the shit
@admydragon Slayer is not this good.
