Everquest Teek: Krono trade fail (Spoom resolved it)

So I popped into commonlands, saw that someone was buying a fungi tunic for 4kr. I met up with them, checked to see how many krono I had, and then did the trade which went through successfully.
You'll see I started with 24 krono, and after receiving 4 in a trade, I still had 24 krono when the trade completed.
This has never happened to me so I camped out of the game and back in, and checked again.
I'll reply back with what Daybreak does, I hear from people that if this ever does happen, they give you what they feel is the platinum value at the time.
