Same. My mother said the same, 'This is my house, when you have yours you can decorate as you wish'! I love layering, so I was in heaven the whole video. Fabulous. Warm & cozy and absolutely yummy!!😍
I used to have friends that could reel off comments and stories about decorating for days, but I moved away and lost touch. Homeworthy fills that void for me, so thank you! 😊😊❤❤
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. So nice to see friends chatting together and having a great time. The bathroom is just incredible.
I swear I was just talking to my daughter about Miles Redd’s upholstered doors! We were looking at pictures of his house online. Imagine my surprise when my favorite designer is interviewing him?!?! Now we are sitting in bed watching together. Oh Joy!!!
I love this! A lot of people seem to think that this is meant to be some sort of stoic grand tour as opposed to a conversation between friends about things…conversations meander when you’re having a good time. It’s bubbly and it’s jaunty fun! Keep it up Alex! If you want to see the house with less chatter just buy the book. Miles is living the dream! Bravo.
Why is everyone being so critical. Mr. Alex touches all his guests which are his friends ! He has a true passion for design . His friends have no problem with it; I’m quite sure that they’re used to it. Clearly these two are friends ! I found the interview well done . Love the beautiful home. I learned alot about designing a home.
WOW, what a great tour of this wonderful townhouse, always loved Miles design, and his own place knocks it out of the park !!!Thanks for sharing with us !
Thank you for this tour. I hit the like button before even viewing the video, because Mr. Papachristidis and Mr. Redd are 2 of my faves. Again, thanks.🙂
The whole house is wonderful, but the bathroom is on another level! It is worthy of a character played by Joan Crawford in a 1930s MGM film! I want it!! Thank you for the video!
Super talented decorator and his home. The banter back-and-forth with Alex didn't bother me. They are obviously close friends and have traveled together and seem to enjoy each other. I don't agree with any of the critical comments about Alex and found them funny.
So happy to see Alex again with yet another amazingly talented, interesting friend!! Bravo!! Beautiful home and a wonderful hour of viewing! Thank you!
Thought I might be the only viewer who found Mr Papachristidis difficult to watch. What I enjoy about Homeworthy tours are the personal insights of the homeowner. Mr. Redd seemed interesting and fun when he wasn’t being interrupted (or grabbed) by his guest with self references that were distracting. Like others I viewed this tour with the sound off.
Thank you for this tour. I have been a Miles fan since I first saw this home in Domino magazine many years ago. He is amazing and has a sort of pixie charm about him that comes through in his spaces. I love Alex too and I think many viewers don’t understand that the only reason we get to see these top tier designers homes when he hosts is because he has convinced them to do it. Yes he is ever opinionated and likes to interrupt, but he treasures his friends and I’m sure wouldn’t have them if they didn’t love and accept him for who he is. So I will do the same in honor of them and in honor of the man himself, his taste and his talent. Thank you Homeworthy.
@@tamjg I had to stop watching 1/3 of the way in. I'm not a negative person overall, so no hate. But I could not complete watching this tour. Makes me so sad since I'd like to see the rest of the home. Someone else mentioned all incessant touching by the interviewer. Completely unprofessional in my opinion.
Love Alex but he has to be the center of attention which is unfortunate for the home owner. Let Miles speak for heavens sake. I had to mute the last two door knocks because of Alex's constant interrupting and talking over the homeowner. He is best in his own home where he can be the center of attention which is fine. I love both designers.
Alex couldn't stop PAWING Miles every ten seconds. It made watching the video not so pleasant. I was expecting him to start drooling everywhere and need a bib ALEX, KEEP YOUR HANDS TO YOURSELF ! Αλέξανδρος, δεν καταλαβαίνεις ΟΧΙ ;
Totally agree, all that touching on camera is not required, does someone at Homeworthy not know this can be very off putting to some members of the audience.
When you live in an old NY townhouse you have permission to go full maximalist. No design era excluded, no color or color palette excluded. No inch or floor or wall not utilized.
He’s answering Alex’ questions. These designers tours are never about just the house, but their life and their path. That’s why the videos are 1 hour long.
I am screaming at this TV for his friend to just stop talking over him. I find him to be rude and somewhat pompous and pretentious and he’s probably a nice guy, but he is dominating The conversation and not letting the homeowner give his opinions and observations. I just can’t watch it anymore😢
ADHD vibes from Alex, adorable but over-identifying with his interviewee and obvious impulse control issues are manifest in his interaction with Miles. When I saw Alex’s closet in a previous video, and the way he arranged his clothes, as well as the uniformity of his outfits I thought neurodivergent for sure. All that being said Alex is a very lovely man and genuinely kind and interested not just in design in but the person before him. We are not all the same, and Alex is just being himself.
Homosexual men are 10% of the western population. While these men are very talented, their home is not condusive to child raising. Without children, societies and populations die out. All Western society's populations are collapsing. This is also by design...hopefully you are not intentionally a participant in this manipulation. Your 'program' emphasizes far more on the 10% than the majority who are working and sacrificing for the continuation of humanity. As your focus is design, how about focusing on design that celebrates families who contribute to the survival of humanity and do so with elegance and creativity.
As soon as I saw Alex, I knew I’d be in for another episode of too much interrupting by Alex!! Please stop and listen to the homeowner!! It’s so annoying for us trying to listen. My blood pressure goes up as I want to scream through the TV screen.

I love New York homes. SO much history & nostalgia.
Alex's Door Knocks are always so fun! The banter is so charming!

Fantastic decor.. very talented individual. Love it all!
Homeworthy needs to redo this home tour with Miles doing the tour Alone‼️💯💯💯💯
From the front door ... knew I was going to love this home. The bathroom, the garden, all the French esthetics -- LOVE!!

I totally agree…its the conversation that makes it fun!
It’s New York Door Knocks!! It’s a “variant” of the house tour smh 🤦
Miles is super talented. His home is beautiful and unexpected. He was fighting for his life here and could not get a word in edgewise, unfortunately.

Thank you for a beautiful home.😊
I loved every second of this video....the tour,the conversations....❤
So happy to see Alex again with yet another amazingly talented, interesting friend!! Bravo!! Beautiful home and a wonderful hour of viewing! Thank you!
The home is absolutely gorgeous!
Love the chit chat between them
Imagine the tag sale when the time comes.
More is More Galor!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Love blue shades❤ .... I'm in my blue period 💙
I respect Miles so much. I looked forward to this Homeworthy episode. Alex is overbearing. I watched without the sound, captions on.
I just muted it. 🤣🤣🤣 I still couldn't finish watching it.
Such a good idea, it’s muted it here too😂. I can appreciated much more, thank you!
I can't imagine just what that bathroom cost. It's stunning.

I love this home and wished I could watch in peace. I cannot stand this person interrupting the home owner at almost every turn. Such a shame!!
Alex is unbearable.
Yeah you right.
Seriously? You did not just say this????

and a little too touchy feely.
Why does the old guy remind me of Jiminey Glick?
This old guy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Alex…shut up and let the owner talk without interrupting
Damn love Alex 😂 you said what I was thinking 🥴
Yeah I love Alex, too.
Couldn’t agree more. I had to stop watching as he kept interrupting and talking over the
Homeowner.

Why is that old man flirting with Miles like that? He couldn't keep his hands to himself either lol
Bravo❤

What a beautiful home!
@@Ruby-hp8hn home yes, but Alex is terrible
Alex is soooo annoying ‼️💯💯💯
Alex is so thirsty for Miles😂😂
I got that vibe.
Alex - you could interview your dog Cooper and I would watch it. You are the best.
Too much hand touches from Alex…..really too much and again and again he is not listening but just over talking
Totally agree, all that touching on camera is not required, does someone at Homeworthy not know this can be very off putting to some members of the audience.
@@anncochrane6659 I’m sure they do not care because as they said he is they favorite, but all that look disgusting
You caught that too. I was like why does he keep touching and rubbing this man. It looks inappropriate.

I’m afraid I had to stop watching, I wanted to listen to the home owner talking about his beautiful home not listen to a one man ‘me, me, me’ show.

Alex is Alex .. for me he makes it fun. Accept and move on. 😊
Please be quiet, let the man talk, it is rude to interrupt someone when they are talking, didn't your mama ever tell you that 🤔😵💫
Looks more like an antique store than a home.
Why does homeworthy keep having Alex do the interviews ⁉️ it's so annoying 💯💯💯 he interrupts continually👎👎👎
The comments are brutal on this one! Nevertheless, lovely and unique home -- so New York.
Richard Marx is the lead singer of Starship band from the 1980's
sad the sound is off
What a cutie.
Couldn’t watch. Ditch Alex. For real.
Hell yeah! Needs a PG-13 rating.
Absolutely 💯💯💯💯
Please no more Alex. Cringe-y touching. Stroking the velvet sofa. Flirting. One upping everything Miles says. So disappointing.
too much touching, too much interrupting.
Alex is a personal space invader. It's so distracting.

I literally feel like screaming through my screen asking Mr. Alex for his turn to talk and not to interrupt other person talk. Bad manners.
How you come out popping super attractive
Good Lord, AP, stop with the close talking and touching. So cringe and distracting.
I said the same like like why does he keep touching and rubbing his legs and arms.
Jiminy Glick talked too much!
Stop and let him talk please,it. Is not about you.A true friend let them shine.
He's great, but needs to cut back on using the word "chic." 😂

Lots to look at. All the glass surfaces make a difficult acoustic in a house.
the house is beautiful. the interviewer was awful.
Ok, I give up, switching off, Homeworthy your business is being spoilt by this host. Read the room and take action.

I am sick and tired of seeing Alex Papachristidis! He is obnoxious...in your face! Please limit his appearances.
A minimalist he is not 😂😂
Why can’t he let the Homeowner talk about HIS HOUSE. I had to stop watching. Frustrating.
I love this home ❤❤❤👏👏👏
