I like the ease of changing bits, the adjustable handle, the heavy duty case with storage for bits, and the two batteries and charger for more work time

would really like to see a drill only selector, im in the milwuakee lineup but dewalt has it on their sds drill could be useful for drilling steel in a pinch or when you have steel and conncrete sandwiched together
I like that the SDS max comes with a 9.0 batteries. It looks like a beast of a tool. I like how you guys show the tool action as well. #workshopaddict
9 amp battery is boss, the only thing better is my new 12 amp battery... I roughed in a whole 4 bathroom house including groundworks cuts with a single 12 amp battery ( used a cordless hole hawg and a m 18 fuel hackzall ) all holes and cuts.... did not even drain the whole battery, still had 1 bar on it.
the fuel brushless motors can go all day, if you have a few batterys and acouple chargers just keep swapping.. be careful with their lower end brushed motors though if you run a full battery through them under heavy load and swap in a fresh one theyll tend to let the smoke out
Hi Brian !! I have the same drill and today it’ stopped to hammer !! The motor is still working but the hammer is not!! Any idea what could be wrong??? Thx
Wish I knew if a new generation Fuel of this model series would come out in 2019. I think this is pretty old. Circ saws and drills have been replaced with new Fuel gens sooner. I know their larges and newest cordless will come out in January 2019. But that is way too big for 99% of jobs.
I just bought the corded smaller version and the first one I've owned. I'd love to have a cordless one. As I'm curious about the new nine amp hour battery.
@@TheJakobLott Plus and Max have a different diameter bit head. I believe Bosch has a unit that will take both..... But I am 99.9% sure this one will not.
This tool is a little bit silly. Using batteries is more likely to be a hindrance. Not really worth it for the occasional moment when cordless will be useful. Also, 9 A.h battery? Having that many cells in parallel means they won't get balanced as well in the charger is just have the standard 2P5S combination. I don't think this unit will be hit.
That's not how it works. All parallel cells are self balancing. All series cell packs must be balanced by a charge controller. Whether 1p, 2p, or 3p, all cells are balanced the same.
$700 for the M18 Fuel vs $350 for the exact same one but electric. Ill stick with the electric hammer drills for now until the ridiculous price of these cordless tools comes down. Im a Milwaukee Fuel fan but I can't justify spending double the price for the same drill just because its cordless

The next size model up 1 3/4" 2718-20 seems like that would be the one to buy except it costs more at $750. Vs $450 for the 2717-20
Is the 2718 a newer version of the same hammer drill? If so, what improvements have been made to the new version?
In caso di bloccaggio della punta abbiamo la frizione che salva da infortuni ? ❓⚠️
I love that this is a cordless rotary hammer, I didn't know they came in cordless. #WorkshopAddict

Hello sir, where can I’ll buy the handle of milwaukee rotary hammer drill 2717-20 model
I love seeing how it was in action! #workshopaddict
I like that it's a SDS MAX battery operated. Not sure if there's any competition at this size and cordless. #WorkshopAddict
can i keep it chipping concrete for over 60 minutes without any stop except changing batterys?
The tool does not get warm, so it should have no issue with that.

I wonder if this with a chisel bit could remove a stubborn wheel bearing hub assembly.

Log into e service and Milwaukee will fix the gearbox for free.
WorkshopAddict the problem is I lost the bill
Have not seen anyone using a spade bit or you might call it a shovel bit. Would like to see how it does digging a hole in dirt ?
How long will that battery last? Will like to see it up against the plug in one
Is it normal for these drills to not have a forward/reverse switch ?
Yes
I borrowed this thing from a coworker one day and it rips. feels just like a corded one #workshopaddict
I like the capacity of the battery with such a high powered drill and how you demonstrate the tools you're reviewing #WorkshopAddict
is this the only cordless SDS Max roto hammer right now?
Yukikazehalo Makita might have just come out with a 36 volt, but I do not know if it is on the market yet.
I like how heavy duty this thing is, great video guys. #WorkshopAddict

It doesn’t seem likely that’s their highest output motor
I would love to get my hands on one of these bad boys. #WorkshopAddict
I like the vibration dampening system on this tool. #Workshopaddict

Can I use the same bits I use with my 1in sds?
Is your 1" a SDS plus or max?
WorkshopAddict sds plus

There are adapters that go from sds Plus to sds max.
No
I like heavy duty kit for using on renovation work! #WorkshopAddict
Love the form factor of this. #Workshopaddict
I love to get my hands on this little beast! #workshopaddict
what about the price ?????
Link to current pricing in description. Currently $699.00 but i bet it will come down in price as the 9.0 Ah batteries become a bit more main stream.

OK , thanks

This just eats concrete i would love this #Workshopaddict
I like how I could tackle about any concrete job I'd come across #workshopaddict
is not brushless?
Carlos Gama Contreras Aguilar all FUEL units have a brushless motor.
Jay Fillet thanks
