my genuine solution towards this is that blizzard should contact wow pvp streamers and content creators on how they should approach this since they have the most experience in the game and could ascertain the issue and get an in depth explination from streamers and content creators as to what is best, since they do have countless hours of pvp time in game.
As a combat rogue I’ve been dropping 20-30 killing blows and very few deaths. Even on a losing game I’ll get 16. Waylay is mandatory with wound poison. I feel like a warrior that can teleport and go invisible
DR is needed but not @ 50 maybe 1/2 that, however there is still class issues regardless of the DR that still need addressed if they want to "Balance pvp" however we all know they will never do it PVE is to important to them and they will only do lazy balances not full skill and class break downs that alter pve/pve effects/damage like it should. No faith in them with pvp balance.
That was fun in BG's trying to kill Feral flag carriers and watching them out heal the damage from four players with just Improved Frenzied Regen which converts rage into a continuous frenzied regen, rage that they get by being attacked. I get that their team is small and they've done a good job thus far, but this change made like 5 classes invincible to stop 3 classes one shotting. Hopefully they recognized that and will not implement this or else rogue becomes bottom tier.
yeah completely agree i feel like blizzard just rushed this decision as a quick fix, most classes who are able to self heal or have amazing defense will not go down. i normally state in my videos that rogues should stack stamina but if this temporary solutions becomes permanent then we have to just rely on zug zug damage and full on agility
The answer here wa ssimple. Put resilience on PvP pieces of gear and allow the player to decide how much of it they want like it always was since tbc. With changes like this in pvp it makes me think how easy devs job are what a joke
You two might one of the very few resilience enjoyers. Resilience was always a stopgap solution, and it punishes PvE gear unnecessarily. As a rogue I’ve been doing great, though it’s clearly overturned. Reduce the damage reduction to something like 35-40%, and reduce hp increase to 15%. Fine tune it as gear changes. Bottom line is we are immensely powerful in PVE and PvP needs a damage reduction that isn’t as awful and restrictive like resilience was.

Absolute lazy attempt to improve PvP imo. Keeping mana costs the same but half the damage for example 🤦♂️
