The presonus is abit ok..damn I can't hear my recordings properly..sound different in hephones but when I play it on monitors It sounds shity, can barely hear my voice properly..any advice on how to sound beter through monitors even though its not mixed and mastered?
you can always do multiple takes tweaking ur settings to see which sound better. hearing ur recordings on different outputs is good to see how u really sound, headphones, ur phone, speakers etc
Every time Edward uploads a video, tho if he had done a similar video 2 to 3 times but, there’s always a new experience listening to his explanation🤤🤤.thnx bruh!!
I live in Australia. The prices of all these monitors are outrageous compared to U.S prices. The cheapest are the 3.5" Presonus Eris at $225 AUD. The Adams and Rockets are so expensive they really are not an option for a toerag like me. I ended up buying Presonus 4.5" BT speakers. Just under $400 AUD...whew!!
Those Mackie monitors are great if you really want 8” monitors and you are tied to a tough budget. Those Mackie’s don’t match the quality of the 8” monitors in this video, but yes their price do make them worth the purchase 👌🏼
Hey man, I know I'm super late to this video but... for a small studio setup would you rather go with the PreSonus Eris E3.5 or the PreSonus Eris E4.5?
Great job . I currently have the Eris 3.5 , the JBL LSR 305( but I have the first Gen ) and the Adam T7V (the T8V weren't manufactured yet ) very good choices you suggested here . Love watching your videos, Always glad I subscribed
In the 3 inch range the presonus are definitely the best. The jbl sound horrible in my opinion. The Mackie is decent, probably better low end, but I've heard a lot of complaints with hissing noise and even not working well after a year or 2 of use.
I am building my bedroom studio atm and I have a question. Would you recommend getting Monitors with 8 inch woofers or 5/7 inch with a seperate subwoofer? Would love to hear your opinion about it
Hey man new producer hope you can help. So What’s better for mixing krk rokit 5 or Yamaha hs5? And what cables would I need to connect to my audio interface? Please help
The Yamaha HS5s are the better option for mixing. You are also going to have to get 2 balanced TRS cables. Here are links to what you need: ◽ Yamaha HS5 (Amazon US Link) - amzn.to/3nEW2gH ◽ Balanced TRS cables (Amazon US Link) - amzn.to/3fma1Eu (You Need 2!)
I own the KRK 8’s. if you’re into your bass, be prepared to be blown away! Ha! They’re a stunning speaker for clarity and bass. You’ll feel like you’re in a club! 🤯👌🏼
The yammies are the best, but if u are too sensitive with your ears u better go for the krk cause the cause me ear fatigue, if u have no social life like myself that means u spent a lot of time makin music or hearin music i suppose so u better take care of you ears. yammies are better for mix and master, so if u just plan to use for bout 3 hours go for the yammies, all though krk are great as well i have both of em

@@EdwardSmithMusic Interesting. The BX5 s often come out ahead when compared to the KRKs or even Yamaha's in most of the reviews I've watched/read. To each their own 😊

You want a stereo sound, and with monitor everything would be mono. So to be honest, working using only one monitor is a waste of time. Rather get a pair of 5” monitors, than one 8” monitor for the same price.
hello, the KRK R8 are good but there is a big problem: a constant hissing noise even when the XLR cables are not connected. It's really annoying and incomprehensible. There is nothing you can do, no device can take away this breath. You can reduce the db a bit to -10db but that doesn't fix a problem. It's in the low-end design and components. I was fooled, few people talk about this problem.

Which one is the best from the PreSonus Eris E3.5, Mackie CR3-X, and JBL 1 Series 104 ?
