    The presonus is abit ok..damn I can't hear my recordings properly..sound different in hephones but when I play it on monitors It sounds shity,can barely hear my voice properly..any advice on how to sound beter through monitors even though its not mixed and mastered?

      you can always do multiple takes tweaking ur settings to see which sound better. hearing ur recordings on different outputs is good to see how u really sound, headphones, ur phone, speakers etc

    I live in Australia. The prices of all these monitors are outrageous compared to U.S prices. The cheapest are the 3.5" Presonus Eris at $225 AUD. The Adams and Rockets are so expensive they really are not an option for a toerag like me. I ended up buying Presonus 4.5" BT speakers. Just under $400 AUD...whew!!

      Those Mackie monitors are great if you really want 8” monitors and you are tied to a tough budget. Those Mackie’s don’t match the quality of the 8” monitors in this video, but yes their price do make them worth the purchase 👌🏼

    Great job . I currently have the Eris 3.5 , the JBL LSR 305( but I have the first Gen ) and the Adam T7V (the T8V weren't manufactured yet ) very good choices you suggested here . Love watching your videos, Always glad I subscribed

    In the 3 inch range the presonus are definitely the best. The jbl sound horrible in my opinion. The Mackie is decent, probably better low end, but I've heard a lot of complaints with hissing noise and even not working well after a year or 2 of use.

      The Yamaha HS5s are the better option for mixing. You are also going to have to get 2 balanced TRS cables. Here are links to what you need:

    The yammies are the best, but if u are too sensitive with your ears u better go for the krk cause the cause me ear fatigue, if u have no social life like myself that means u spent a lot of time makin music or hearin music i suppose so u better take care of you ears. yammies are better for mix and master, so if u just plan to use for bout 3 hours go for the yammies, all though krk are great as well i have both of em

    I have a pair of 4" Gibson Les Paul and i am struggling to find the perfect material to fix acoustics in my room.
    What material would you recommend, i am afraid to kill the bass i already dont have lol
    Should i go for Rock wool or something less dense?

      I would go for simple acoustic panels or a thick foam (at least 2"). Don't over do it either, you just want to kill any echo and bouncing audio waves.

      @@ak-gi3eu It's good to use just to check your mix after you are done. For the entire mixing process, it's not a great idea... but for just checking it afterwards, it's perfect!

    Can I ask why you didn't have a look at anything from M Audio? The BX5/8 line is usually included. Just curious

      Personally, M-Audio studio monitors aren't great. There are usually always a better set of monitors for the price and size.

      The stereo width on them are totally insane if u have them close to you. Kinda felt like they were better than my own pair...
      For the price I think they are amazing to say the least

      They are good, I actually even own a pair. But the features and overall sound aren’t up to scratch with the 5” monitors I mentioned in this video.

      You want a stereo sound, and with monitor everything would be mono. So to be honest, working using only one monitor is a waste of time. Rather get a pair of 5” monitors, than one 8” monitor for the same price.

    hello, the KRK R8 are good but there is a big problem: a constant hissing noise even when the XLR cables are not connected. It's really annoying and incomprehensible. There is nothing you can do, no device can take away this breath. You can reduce the db a bit to -10db but that doesn't fix a problem. It's in the low-end design and components. I was fooled, few people talk about this problem.
