Thanks for the video. I needed to replace the battery in my 2015 Cruze, followed this video step by step and had no problems at all. Easy enough to do.
Thank you for the video. Had to adjust the top and side pieces that hold the battery in place after taking my car to Sam’s Club to replace the battery. Decided to check it after I got home because the guy told me he had trouble with it. He left an inch gap for the battery to slide back and forth and the top peace was only connected on one side. Also he broke the plastic cover. Will save your video to do it myself next time.
Thank you!!! Good instructions, worked well. Only thing you missed was the vent tube on the battery. Which you should put back in if your old battery has one there. Other than that worked perfectly. Thank you very much!
@@darklinkx8 money my man, why make 2 or 3 batteries that work for every vehicle when they can make a dozen of them, charge different prices, and make some of them so inaccessible you have to either have special tools or take it to a shop... In all honesty, I really don't know, but corporate greed is my thoughts on why the world is the way it is, and it seems to explain a lot of why things are.
I had this problem too. I had to just set it off to get the hood open and connect jumper cables with another car. The battery wouldn't charge enough to start but it was enough to turn the alarm off.
@@JEE7600 makes perfect sense. Some people are incapable of following simple instructions. Also batteries plus will change your battery for free with purchase of new battery. I watched the video hoping it would tell me what battery specifically to put in the cruze. My old battery is shaped differently than the one I got from autozone and doesn’t fit the way it should. The one I removed has a beveled top and the new one don’t. Chevy is gay.

Yup doing this for my 2015 currently also. Must be their time to be replaced
Thank you so much!!! Successfully changed the battery and now the car is purring!

Which everlast battery will fit in my 2012 Chevy Cruze ?
If I’m using a everlast battery from Walmart which one should I get for my 2012 Chevy Cruze
Why the hell are new batteries so fing weird

Very good tutorial. Thanks for this video just finished taking mine out :)
What size wrench did you use?
@@gympson53 A 10mm and a 13mm wrench is really all you need. The black and red connectors are a 10mm the others are 13mm
It is a 10mm for it
It's a 10mm for the Red and Black connectors connecting to the actual battery but the 2 on top of the power box is a 13mm
There are no screws for the positive battery cover clips in my 2015 Cruze.
There are also no slots for me to put a screwdriver in.
How do you disable the theft lock audio system ?

I don't understand why GM makes replacing battery such a mess. Why put the stupid wiring stuff on top of the battery?
Would've been helpful if there was instructions on the size pulley being used to unscrew the bolts 😑on 2011 Chevy Cruze for battery
You need a 10mm socket wrench, that’s it
Just go to the dealership, don’t even bother doing this, you’ll have all kinds of problems if you make one mistake
That doesn't even make any sense. You want to pay the dealership 120$ to swap a battery that takes 5 minutes?

Hey have you found the answer? This happened to my car yesterday🥲
