      Well, I was thinking the same thing however, it’s more clear that it would be the passenger side because that’s where the filler neck is, and you can see the rear door on the right of the screen and a part of the taillight on the left of the screen.

      Mine is currently at 213,000. This morning it stuttered and eventually had no engine feedback when pushing the gas pedal. Coasted to a stop on the side of the road pressed gas again after a minute and it picked up. I'm thinking it's a fuel pump but not certain.

    Anyone have floating baffles in the tank?? How do you place these back properly?

    • @benmiddlecoat9852
      @benmiddlecoat9852 5 місяців тому

      Yeah mate I had that issue. I'll try make it clear as to how I put them back on.
      On the floor of the tank, feel around for 2 separate long moulded bumps. They are side by side of each other and are the only bumps you should feel on the floor. Now sit a baffle on one of the bumps. You should be able to tell which side of the baffle house over the bump and the shorter side goes towards the outside of the tank. Then all you do next is push down on the spring to reduce the height of the baffle and then manoeuvre it to sit between 2 smaller moulded grooves on the roof of the tank. Then repeat for the other baffle, again with the shorter end to the outside of the tank.
      Mine fit pretty snug and tight. I have read you could use a chemical resistant glue to ensure they stay put for good.
      Hope that helps and not too late.
