Omg 😳. Why did you put Chick peas in it?
@@dorothysmith3205 Hi my jamaican friend likes chickpeas in his cowfoot. It tasted very delicious too. 🙂🙂Thanks for the comment.
@@ManCanCook41 I don't like chickpeas . That's why I wouldn't put it in my cow foot.
@@dorothysmith3205 Is ok, you can skip putting the chickpeas when you are trying out the recipe.
Thanks you very much ♥️ ❤
Thanks for the comment.
This is more of a soup..it needed more cooking down to form a rich gravy.. still looks lovely
Thanks for your comment.
In small islands they make it this way and call it sous and have it like it's a soup. But in Jamaica they don't do sous; they cook it down further into a thicker gravy like consistency. You got all the concepts down though.
@@namkebanyanklariti Souse is different recipe, not like this
@@lxxs742 oh yeah, elaborate?
@@namkebanyanklariti souse is a spicy pickled broth, this is a stew. two different recipes, key ingredients, etc.
Blessings,in Jamaica we do it two ways cow foot with rice or boiled food or cow foot soup. This looks more like soup only no yam ,cho cho or dumplings, still looking good though.nuff love.
Blessings,in uk I agree is more of a jamaican cowfoot soup. I have tried it with boiled dumplings. I actually have a video of my boiled dumplings which will be out soon. Thanks for the comment
❤cow foot. Nice one
Thanks for watching.
Very nice 😋
Your on the right path its just the gravy wanting to thick up
Thanks for the comment, my jamaican friend wanted it to be more like a soup. Future jamaican soup will be thickened.
@ This is a stew not a soup. Soup shouldnt be thickened while stew should be. It only need to boil down some more and it would be great but you did good.
New Zealand but I am a jamaican
Feet yea❤😂😂
😅 it's amazing it's good for the back so they say
I tried to cook it at home and my children are moved from a month or a week something like that and they won't speak to me so I don't know I leave it alone❤😂😂
Thanks for sharing.

Looks yummy. What is butter beans in Nigeria?
Butter beans, also known as lima beans, are called Kapala in Yoruba and Ukpa in Igbo in Nigeria. I hope that helps. Thanks
@@ManCanCook41 I watch a lot of Nigerian Movies. Didn't know that was what they call butter beans. Thanks 👍 for the information.
@@dorothysmith3205 You welcome. Happy to help.
Uncooked they're lima beans. But cooked and canned, their texture become soft as butter, so "butter beans!?"
Ty should be too😅
I like to see my chef or cook with gloves on when seasoning meat and cooking in general. Canada
I am a responsible cook. I also wash my gloves or change frequently. Watching from canada? Thanks for the comment.🙂🙂
If you eat out it's Impossible to know lol because there's no way you walk into a restaurant and demand to see the kitchen so you can inspect the chef.... but if you hire a private chef then you can make and expect those demands otherwise this comment is null and void. I understand that you might like it... actually we all would but it's not a realistic expectation.
Husband one😂❤😂 racquet 7day😢😮 strain
That a soup people
Thanks for the comment.
Miam 😊
I love it
Am glad you love it. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks for the comment.
Old grandmother don't eat it never she died because lack if certain iron that you know I don't know❤😂🎉
Looks good, but mi neva brown cowfoot before not with all the fat and grease that are in the bones. The finished product looks delicious. It's more like cowfoot soup. Next time, use more garlic and make it dry down a bit before putting in the beans and carrots. Nice job, though, especially if you are not Jamaican.
Thanks for comment and feedback.
thats cow foot soup sir
Noted and thanks for your comment.
It's too runny looks more like soup. Needed to let it simmer more. Next time throw off some of that water and allow it to pressure for a little longer the meat should be soft and falling off the bone in texture.
Thanks for the comment and advice.
That is not the Jamaican way no
Thanks for the comment.
Is this person a Jamaican? I don't think so.SORRY😢
Thanks for your comment. Am not Jamaican but watch out for more Jamaican recipes in the future. 😏😏
@@dawnfisher4255 Which Jamaican do you know that put chickpeas or garbanzo beans as we know it in their cow foot . I don't think that you are a Jamaican or you wouldn't say that rubbish.
@@dorothysmith3205 Thanks for the comment, Like i said am not Jamaican , but thats how my Jamaican friend like his cowfoot to be prepared. You can makle your own cowfoot how you like. Thanks for watching and i hope you have subscribed.
@@ManCanCook41people maybe the Jamaican that likes it this way is married to a Vinci woman. They do it this way in the smaller islands (Dominica, St. Vincent, etc.) and call it souce.
