I hope you do continue with the campaign, Colin! When my daughter first got into gaming, this was one of the big hits for her and we played it I do not know how many times, including all of the expansions.
Thanks Colin for the playthrough - high entertainment value! Just checking, but if I remember correctly, Jakobe only get to roll for a second attack (return of the boomerang) if the first missed. Not that it really mattered in this one. Keep 'em coming!
1:00:57 You did the same thing I did for a long time; move the Hourglass. However, if you read the instructions, they tell you to move the *Chapter End Marker* which is currently at Page 6 (if memory serves). Thus, getting this gives you more time to complete the chapter. That being said, I think I've only once lost due to running out of time ( _everything_ went against us), so it's not that big of a deal. Still.
yalday! great vid mate. i've had this game for 3 years, not got to this yet. played all the base game and i'm halfway through Glorm...one day, one day 😅
Thanks for playing Downwood Tales! Was such a fun story. Shame no more support for the product or downloadable bonus maps using the new tiles were released.
@@OneStopCoopShop True! Just lamenting the loss of the official story. Are you going to play the bonus mission that uses Tailfeathers components that was releasd on Plaid Hat games website?
Just picked up the game, quick question if we wanna cut down the leaf or just climb down the tree does all enemy minions needs be killed and if we just go down or up the tree we just use a new encounter card correct?
Thanks for filming this and great job on the audio, editing, and overall explanation of the game. I'm definately interested in seeing more. One question though, why limit Nez to only 1 additonal movement? I get the idea is to limit the amount of dice rolling, but rolling a "1" for Nez is the worst possible roll, and the houserule is limiting Nez to that worst possible movement every turn. Since the average roll would be "2" (like the enemies) why not just apply that same rule to the hero mice that way Nez has more opportunities to contribute.
Haven't played this in ages but I'm loving, and very much appreciating, this 'Cult of the Old' journey you're on. 👍👍👍
Sometimes you just gotta pull those oldies out right?? Thanks for watching!!
@@OneStopCoopShop Absolutely!!
The Redwall series was probably the reason why I was drawn into this game.
Oh cool!!

That's awesome! I am hopeful my 7yr old will get into it!

Woa, yes, Mice and Mystics, still one of my favourite games - brought me into the world of minis painting
Nice! I can see why the minis are fantastic
Great playthrough! I love it!
Thanks so much Michael!

I agree! I think it could be easy to make your own story? Just a lot of work I think..

I have it! When did it slot in for the story do you know?
@@OneStopCoopShop After the main game is done. It is the final mission ever published.
Umm heck yes! That's sounds awesome thank you for letting me know!
Would love to see this campaign continue.
I am pretty certain this one will continue thanks for watching!!

You've got it!
I watch the full campaign! That was legit fun. Its like a show
Got you my friend! Pretty sure this one will continue still have it on the table!
Love it, now playing Aftermath too and mixing the games together makes for excellent RPGs
That is awesome!!
I’ve looked at aftermath and wondered how to go about doing a mashup
@@craigthebugguy7055 The tiles work perfect for more adventures, then also the additional models for more tribal clans.
Just started watching...do the people you bought the game from paint minis for hire? Those minis look fantastic!!!
I don't know... I will ask but yeah the minis are a step above what I've seen!! Thanks for watching!!
Would love to see the campaign continue as well.
It's still on my table so I think it's happening!!

Can you start the base game with this expansion included such as playing with Jakob
You certainly can. Might not make thematic sense but it would work!
The minis look really good but I don't know about a game you have to so heavily house rule.
Yup I get that! Not for everyone that's for sure!
