Oh God....I am getting goosebumps and teary eyed. The man still has it. His voice is still so beautiful. The huskiness is still vibrating . Wow after so many years.
When I was a teenager and on into my twenties, I was buying every Neil Diamond record as soon as it came out. I never once bought a Beatles record. I have always believed you can actually feel his music. My husband watched The Jazz Singer with me and from the on, he recognized Neil and my husband was a country music fan.

When I was young in the 60’s and 70’s Neal was one of my favorites. I got married, worked hard, grew a wonderful family, am now retired and have 40 years of music to catch up with. This song was like hearing an old friends voice. God bless!

Unforgettable concert in San Antonia, Tx he performed at the Spurs Stadium in 2005. He introduced the Orchestra , Band and backup Singers. They all have been with him for thirty or more years.. A great legacy
Neil has been a forvorite for 40 years. So sad he has stopped touring. He will be missed. I was on my way to his 50th anniversary concert in San Diego when I lost the transmission in my van and had to be towed home. I still have that ticket pinned to my wall and my memories! Neil I grew up with you. We are (almost) the same age . I love you man and wish for you the best!

Neil Diamond made his best work in the 60s and 70s, but many people don't know that in the 2000s he experienced an artistic revival with the critically acclaimed albums 12 Songs, Home Before Dark (which made the #1 spot on both sides of the Atlantic) and Melody Road, from which this song is one of the highlights. It just proves that Neil Diamond continued to write great songs in the latter days of his career. When he announced he would never perform again due to illness, he declared that he would remain active and continue making music. My greatest wish is that he will release one last album of self-written songs.

I've been a fan of Neil since I was 10 years old and now I'm 60 years of age. I can listen to him all day.
At the age of 10 my school friend and I used to sit at the back of our school during break time to discuss Neil's music. We decided that we knew him and that he was sometimes sad and we so wanted to cheer him up. We were only 10 but felt we could relate to him. Now I feel that it was his beautiful spirit that reached out to us We loved him so much. I've always been a fan since then and owns so many of his songs.
Only Sunday I was on a trip to Oxford UK, (where I now live) and it"s Neil's music that took me there and back. I was playing Love at the Greek the entire trip and felt like I was at his concert.
If I'm feeling a bit stressed, I just play Johnathan Livingston Seagul, or I Am I Said, Glory Road, Brooklyn Road...and I'm fine again.
Another one that cheers me up is Dry your Eyes others that makes me want to just dance includes Stargazer, Surviving the Life, Brother Love Traveling Salvation Show...this one takes me to church and back.
In 1982, when I left Jamaixa to come to the UK, I could not believe, the video we were watching on British Airways was The Jazz Singer. I so couldn't believe I was watching my idol Neil on screen. I was so frightened to fly as well but that film made me forget about my fear of heights. Wonderful film. I have.watched it a dozen times since. It has the best sound tracks ever.
I will always be one of the millions of Neil's fans. He's brought so much joy to so many lives through his music God bless Neil Diamond and long may he continue to make music. Nothing but a Heartache here just gets me everything. What a voice!

A great singer-songwriter, I liked his music since my adolescence, and even today at 58, I still like his music, all his songs I like, however, there is one very special, I mean "Seongah and Jimmy" , it is a very beautiful love story, of two young people of different nationalities, there you can see, that love has no barriers of nationalities or languages. A big shame, is that Master Diamond, had to make a parenthesis in his very diligent career, for health reasons; I hope we can enjoy your music again very soon. A hug to the distance to the Master, from Costa Rica.

In Truth Neil Diamond're a great singer of your wonderful songs all my life I've been listening since my first long-playing album will you throw in the 1964 to 1965 I was an 8 year my mother bought by catalog records and came by accident you and change my life forever. I think your songs last forever. I remember it was the song of Sweet Caroline to day with my brothers danced together almost all day until sunset was wonderful for my life. I have always prayed for you my God to bless him forever.

Went to one of his earlier approx 1969? concerts in San Francisco, our car was stolen, the police drove us to the head of the line (we already had tickets) loved the concert , my. Car 62, Corvette, was recovered at Napa valley mental hospital six months later, stripped of course. I was in the military, no money, 18 years old ,however this is one of my most precious memories, because this concert was one of his best. My wife, (same one) and I have been to several. Absolutely a great performance, never to be forgotten.
