Although I'm sure when Kukki was saying "Fast-Redeploy", he meant Executor Specialists, given its clarified in the title of that section. But yeah.
One thing I realized about Texalter is that the skill 3's swords doesn't get affected by ASPD debuff/buff which comes in handy for bosses that slows operators's ASPD. That also means if you're going like 600 ASPD, it wont really change the dps of texalter that much (except for the main slashes).

Something cool about how Texas Alter's s3 interacts with low altitude enemies is that Vanguard Texas' s2 works the same way. Using OG Texas in IS2 was how I found out she could knock the flying soldiers out of the air

I just reinstalled Arknights after seeing an ad about texas alter and free pulls because I really liked Texas. Glad I got her with the free 10pull cause she'll be a big help for someone like me who has skill issues in TD games. Also her alter is cool af.
Skill 1 is actually useful at e1 since without her second talent she is kinda frail n the extra damage over time while she is down after being one shot does help
I found myself using Sexas a lot in IS3, and she is damn good! She absolutely carried me in helping get the first 3 Endings. Her S3 is no joke. Seriously, there are some crazy strong collectibles for her in that mode.
One more thing of note, S2 may do more DPS, but if an elite or boss can easily kill Texas and is not stun immune, S3 may allow you to deal more total damage to said boss or elite by helping you survive their attacks. SPOILERS: You can also use this crazy synergy in the future with Omertosa, Reed alter and Surtr against really strong bosses. Have Reed ready to heal Surtr, when Surtr is about to block the boss activate her skill 3, then activate Reed S2 and place Omertosa S2 next to Surtr so they both cover and attack the boss. Surtr ignores some res, Reed alter has crazy stat scaling and will amplify arts damage, Omertosa will reduce some of the bosses res. This setup should easily do more than 200k arts damage in the duration of Reed's skill, which is 20 seconds.
My Top 5 best operators in Arknights. 1. Mlynar- currently the best DPS wide AoE damage dealer in the game. He's so strong to the point where almost all UA-cam low rarirty clears have him as the core operator. 2. Texas Alter- In my opinion the best helidrop in the game. Fast redeploy + high DPS + crowd-control = broken meta unit. 3. Surtr- She's still good, although the appearance of Texalter gave her a competition, her immortality talent makes her an irreplaceable boss killer. 4. Ch'alter- She used to be the number 1 in my opinion. But the since the introduction of Mlynar who can also deal wider AoE DPS, even AK YT guide makers favors him to be used as core operators more often than her. Mlynar has 3x cheaper DP cost, wider range and slightly higher DPS. She's still very strong though. 5. SilverAsh- His invisible reveal is a niche that will always be useful since HG loves introducing invisible enemies. Although weaker than Mlynar, he can deal wider AoE physical damage. His talent shortens the redeployment time of other units, it allows me to spam Texalter and Surtr more often than usual. You see, I love nuke-knights.

From the creators of "Just Use Surtr" comes "Just Use Texas the Omertosa." I agree that it is one of the best, and I dare say that it must be TOP3, game operators. Since the moment i get her, I have used it both, in the stages and in IS#3, and today probably in the SSS, and how the meta changes is impressive. It was definitely worth taking it out in P6 and leaving it in Lv90 M9 Module Lv3
At first I though only her skill 3 was going to be my go-to skill and while it is; Skill 1 and 2 have proven so good in so many IS3 runs so far. I don't M9 often but she earned it! And her module further improves her potential and we got it right away too!
Texas Alter is the literal Key that will let me start skipping banners for Yato alt and Chongyue. Previously I still had to keep pulling for stuff but at this point everything is just trivialized with Surtr, Ling and Texas the Tax Collector. A thing that I also like to do is use Texas' RES shred to help Surtr get more damage in. It's really funny to watch Patriot die this way.
I want to argue with the Patriot clear, instead of showing off how broken Texas is I'd say Mountain is even more OP because he made the Texas shenanigans possible all on his own holding the line.
In current event, once the angry mob guy spawns -- the bar stops draining. Any kills you make during this period, don't count against the new bar. So it's a great time to drop Texas S3, GG S3, and other similar wave-clearing skills. But really Texas S3 makes short work of large clumps like multiple cars then that spawn 3 guys each... and all of them will die w/o spawning a 2nd annoying miniboss guy.
Texas S3 (At pot 4 at least I think) can actually solo WD-8 and she's the only non-summoner operator who can, I think. No need to deploy Silverash, Nearl, Irene or Surtr. But I mean she takes 12 deployments to kill Emperors blade so she clearly sucks
I only got 2 Penance, and 1 Mylnar in 200 pulls. I never got limited operators after 1,5 years playing despite F2P and saving 75% of my funds for limiteds. In fact, I probably lost around 20 6* pulls on limited and never got a single one. Is this a curse or am I setting a new record of shame?
The thing is, both skill2 and skill3 can use either boss or trashmob depending if you are using her right. Tho. For me, i am still using skill2 to almost everything coz its cool. It is her, signature skill in il siracusano pv with that deer.
Texas skill 3 is invaluable for is3 it's like hg made is3 just for her those flying guys are the worst and highmore boss becomes a breeze She can DPS the knight ending 2 as well and skadi hehe what skadi Texas alter is the best operator to come to this game and Texas is my fav character anyway big plus
Stun immune enemies can get easily killed too. The dps of her S3 is more ridiculous the more no of enemies are in her box. And special enemies get S2ed.
Only when damage is the only concern, since Yato deals mostly Physical damage that gains more from buffs that its Arts counterpart and the two types depend on Def or Res, respectively. Outside of damage, Texas can debuff enemy Res on 3 by 3 tiles with S2 or deal multiple stuns on 3 by 3 tiles to enemies, whereas Yato's S3 is invincible during skill duration and skill durations for both S2 and S3 are very short (can be retreated faster since most of the damage has been already dealt).
I am a relatively new player (started in the final week of March), and I was very excited about this banner. I am so glad I saved a bunch and got her at P2 and Penance at P1 (together with NRT in my free 10 pull!... and Pallas, meh). I did these pulls while watching your stream, it was super fun! Thank you for your guides and vids, I am enjoying this game a lot (also thanks for the rest of the community, you ppl are great). Today I reached 300 pull and now I am thorn between Skalter and W. I guess Skalter would be better? I love both characters from what I've seen and played. Which one is rarer? Though I guess both will also be back on the "Here I Stand" banner, right? I also don't know which 6* op should I get from the permit. I was going to get Surtr, but after watching this video I am wondering if there are another operator that would suit me better, since it seems Texas Alter do similar to Surtr or even better (according to your video). Besides Penance, Pallas, NTR and Texas Alter, I have the following 6* ops: Exusiai, Mlynar, Horn, Hoshiguma, Ifrit, Mudrock and Weddy.
Get saria, she will carry you troght a lot of stages she is also worth m6 (m9 if you consider doing buff army) as for w or skalter, skalter is always go option in my team excelent buffer and provide decent pasive healing
Tbh with those 6*s there really isn't any operator that you literally need. You are essentially set for lategame already. I'd say sparking for Skalter is better but she's a high investment unit that does nothing if you don't have a good team already. W is pretty good too but she's easy to replace. Some good options for the selector imo: -Mountain or Thorns - braindead laneholders -Eyjafjalla or Goldenglow - having a good arts DPS/burst op is nice -Nightingale - anyone that doesn't have Nightingale should get Nightingale because no other operator can replace her -Bagpipe - good overall and help flagbearers -Saria - she's very tanky and can essentially replace a medic -Kal'tsis - in your case you would probably take her for the true damage on S3 but she's good overall
Meanwhile I pulled 3 Penance and 1 Mylnar in almost 200 pulls lol and 6 months saving. Definitely quitting rn, 1,5 years without any limiteds are just pitiful, got 15 6* on those banner and none of them are what I want, what a joke

She is literally the most beginner friendly operator you could ask for in Arknights XD all you need now is a myrtle (4* endgame operator available from recruitment)
Level 60 is usually enough for the module. Maybe level 90 if that small difference can make or break a run, like having enough HP to survive or deal enough damage to land the killing blow, which really depends on the stage and enemies.
New to the game, 2 weeks, lvl 55. I got pot3 Texas alter and I refuse to use her. I wish I got other 6 stars instead. She is too OP. Whats the point playing if there is no challenge? I invested in Quartz, made her one of my first E2, couldn't be happier.
It’s nice you’ve got that mindset to play. It’s okay to have some broken characters to start off, it at least clears content for you. But beyond clearing content, if you’re in to challenge yourself, playing the permanent gamemodes, or reclearing stages with your own set conditions is a selective taste. Not all players have that, but glad you are one of them

Texas Alter is really great in IS3, just bring Hand of Superspeed and Wrath of the Siracusans and she’s OP.

Also, skill 3 area dps isn't dependent on atk speed, meaning atk speed buff like Akk or debuff like 11:27 won't affect the sword rain speed

It's the best unit in the game for me. The only that comes close is Bagpipe with how she just ignores one of the key mechanics of the game

I am so glad I saved a bunch and got her at P2 and Penance at P1 (together with NRT in my free 10 pull!... and Pallas, meh). I did these pulls while watching your stream, it was super fun! Thank you for your guides and vids, I am enjoying this game a lot (also thanks for the rest of the community, you ppl are great).
Today I reached 300 pull and now I am thorn between Skalter and W. I guess Skalter would be better? I love both characters from what I've seen and played. Which one is rarer? Though I guess both will also be back on the "Here I Stand" banner, right?
I also don't know which 6* op should I get from the permit. I was going to get Surtr, but after watching this video I am wondering if there are another operator that would suit me better, since it seems Texas Alter do similar to Surtr or even better (according to your video). Besides Penance, Pallas, NTR and Texas Alter, I have the following 6* ops: Exusiai, Mlynar, Horn, Hoshiguma, Ifrit, Mudrock and Weddy.
Get saria, she will carry you troght a lot of stages she is also worth m6 (m9 if you consider doing buff army) as for w or skalter, skalter is always go option in my team excelent buffer and provide decent pasive healing
Tbh with those 6*s there really isn't any operator that you literally need. You are essentially set for lategame already. I'd say sparking for Skalter is better but she's a high investment unit that does nothing if you don't have a good team already. W is pretty good too but she's easy to replace. Some good options for the selector imo:
-Mountain or Thorns - braindead laneholders
-Eyjafjalla or Goldenglow - having a good arts DPS/burst op is nice
-Nightingale - anyone that doesn't have Nightingale should get Nightingale because no other operator can replace her
-Bagpipe - good overall and help flagbearers
-Saria - she's very tanky and can essentially replace a medic
-Kal'tsis - in your case you would probably take her for the true damage on S3 but she's good overall

Meanwhile I pulled 3 Penance and 1 Mylnar in almost 200 pulls lol and 6 months saving. Definitely quitting rn, 1,5 years without any limiteds are just pitiful, got 15 6* on those banner and none of them are what I want, what a joke

@@secreswallowtail8763celebration banner is worth to pull IF you have most of the 6* from the banner, if you missing like 3-5 6* from the banner then it's kinda worth it, but if it's more than 10 (like me) then it's not that worth it or I'd say it's a scam banner for new-mid players

She is literally the most beginner friendly operator you could ask for in Arknights XD all you need now is a myrtle (4* endgame operator available from recruitment)

Level 60 is usually enough for the module.
Maybe level 90 if that small difference can make or break a run, like having enough HP to survive or deal enough damage to land the killing blow, which really depends on the stage and enemies.
No. It's a negligible stat increase.
Nobody is worth it for the hefty cost. 90 is for flexing and waifu oath purposes.
New to the game, 2 weeks, lvl 55. I got pot3 Texas alter and I refuse to use her. I wish I got other 6 stars instead.

I invested in Quartz, made her one of my first E2, couldn't be happier.
It’s nice you’ve got that mindset to play. It’s okay to have some broken characters to start off, it at least clears content for you. But beyond clearing content, if you’re in to challenge yourself, playing the permanent gamemodes, or reclearing stages with your own set conditions is a selective taste. Not all players have that, but glad you are one of them
You're new. It gets harder as you progress. Thats always how arknights was. Release broken units -> Raise difficulty
Future content is going to get harder and harder. Texasalter is also very helpful in the new IS.
I'll start using her when I get to that content then. It feels wrong if I can steamrol thru the early stages.
