I'm no expert but it seems like there isn't that much force with your blocking leg. Most of the strength comes from the "wheel steering" motion with your hands. The foot just needs to block at the right time, which seems like right when the leg comes off the ground. Should be very low risk of injury since that leg is off the ground and light. Hopefully DadBod can come in and verify though haha
Yes. The only thing I would add would be if you can block the knee on the side and as you pull, the knee should collapse inward which destroys his balance and make the throw actually work. That is a nice explanation of the throw you conveyed, Silokkes. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel! Dave.
one tech. in and with how smooth that hiza was ...and the look of your gi top...you found another follower...god bless you
Thanks and welcome
Hello, I'm loving your vids.
Just a petition, if you know some exercices to prevent knee injuries, I would love that video.

Thanks for your videos…great tips and to the point. Do you think you could please add a no-gi version to the throw sometimes as well?
Yes I can
This looks Harai than guruma type attack. Like De-ashi-barai that sweep goes up and not ankle
Damn bro I haven't seen a Toraki gi since the 90s.
Lol!!!
I’m always afraid I’m going to hurt someone’s knee so I rarely try this.

The camera is so unsteady I can't watch.
