Judo is not only a martial art but also a popular competitive sport. Judo matches take place on a mat and involve throwing an opponent onto their back, pinning them for a designated time, or submitting them through joint locks or strangles. Matches are scored based on the control, force, and execution of techniques. Judo's worldwide popularity led to its inclusion in the Olympic Games, where it has been a competitive event since 1964.

Great practical techniques. Many times the classical methods don't work and these variations are so useful.

A lot of interesting ideas with this. Great breakdown on how R v R, both have right foot forward .... goal is to load your opponent's left foot .... Killing the grip seems fine, I'm less sure about the head position, that seems like something that would be tough against an experienced player .... Will play with all this tonight at practice.

Why do you have a Korean flag in your dojo/dojang? Where is the Japanese flag?
