This is the kind of video that makes some people want to throw their Bass away.😁😁😁 Jesus christ! Victor Wooten is out of this world! Steve is amazing too with his fretless Bass, and this dude on the “drums" smashed everything, I Had never seen anything like that.
As amazing as this drummer was on this pad. I still can't help but, think... "I would like to see him play a real drum set. I'm betting he's amazing to watch and, a real talent.
@@sandeepvyas6576 ~$7k bass (I could be off a bit there), light gauge strings, extremely low action, Victor's Hartke amps, and most importantly... Victor Wooten's brain and hands.
What always blows my mind about these videos is how no one watching in person is standing up and grooving. How could you watch this live and now want to groove and dance a little bit. C'mon people!!
i can hardly stop myself from modestly (not many wild moves, arm swings) boogeying in place when there's a groove going. your observation IS kind of depressing, in what it suggests about the level of real music appreciation among the gathered "music lovers."
mae: just noticed a woman shaking her head, bobbing a bit in her seat. and the guy who broke in to announce the names, now standing, is moving subtly. whew!
Kinda like? Maybe they thought they were in a Sunday church service. Come on people! Get up and show more groove on your feet! Get your meat off the seat! Dang. That's a good lyric line. Get your meat off the seat and dance!
I wonder how people cant move their head while listening to these crazy groove, maybe they cant relate to the beautifull music and groove, thnks for the upload 👍
Thanks alot,it must be the 20th time i hear this mini concert. :) Great sound too quality wise, good dynamics, not overly compressed like many other youtube concerts and CDs nowadays, this is great sounding, thanks. :) Bailey playes the craziest chord combos and fast finger plays that make it sound like the tones glide so smooth and Wooten either plays the pocket to play along or goes on his usual amazing thumb, plucking and slap plays, they are the perfect combo. :) And the drummer rocks too! :) Their 2 albums Bass Extremes: cook book and just add water is amazing. :)
Thanks for uploading the full performance, one of these clips is a favorite go-to bass video of mine to put on for people haha, but mainly for David Haynes, i've never seen anyone play finger drums like this before. It's absolute PERFECTION
SO AWESOME. I gotta drop the metal! Jaco CAUGHT MY EAR and being from my step mom's S. Fl. HS I should've determined this earlier. Vic, Steve- I am so impressed! Clarke & Miller got my attn. but THIS GOT ME
that 6-string fretless bass played well is a very versatile instrument: could fairly be called a guitar, considering the upper range he can cover. and, of course, a bass. would like to hear him cover both ranges si8multaneously.
Quality recording. That drum pad sounds so real 😮. Amazing Trio
that drummer was amazing

That would be perfect if the skill to go with it was acquired🤔
Beautiful fretless bass guitar.
Honestly anyone in this video could be called Fingers, dang
มือกลองเทพมากกกก
Victor เก่งเกิ๊น
Steve อะไรอีกเบส6สายไร้เฟลต
Welp, guess this is my favorite band now
This is the definition of "there's levels to this".
Just listen to Victor's tone amazing !!
What's the secret sauce?

Yep, working on his tone since he was single digit age

They need to put their phones down and enjoy the moment.
Some of us like to also watch the players intently. Dancing is a spectrum.
the bass is just an extension of Vic's body just effortless for him

Thank you!
Damn, it doesn't get much better than this! Some of the greatest musicians of our time.
I'll say it in two words. In Credible.
Fingers-how??!!!just how???!!! Dang these guys are funky sweet
Oh my word I forgot about this
Lead bass, l love it....
I keep forgetting the dudes using edrum pad for drums. Sounds so real.
Then don't go to see live concerts because you can't appreciate the difference. Hence why even bother going when you can watch online or from tv?
Don't worry about the sound the skill is top shelf😎
@@suparosc02For why, fam? Smh. No need to be negative. Man's was giving a compliment. 😔
Steve amazing always
Speaking some deep things on that Bass.. @Victor Wooten and Stephen Bailey..
Steve knows just when to cut back and do some harmonic comping. He's just a fan when Victor is going on his runs
Fab in the back!
Steve is so amazing!! His right hand is so unique
No one plays the bass like Steve!! Just amazing
I think that's Fab Dupont hanging out watching. In the crowd.

The first music reminds me Mega Drive´s game ToeJam & Earl
6:57 nooo amigo mira el groove que esta metiendo victor wooten locooo
I like Wooten's playing style much more when he plays finger style.
That's just me.
Phenomenal trio!!!
Guys, whats that under David's left foot? Is it a high-hat pedal?
yes , midi interface

Thank you very much, Govna. For posting this video too.
Much obliged. You have introduced me to these fine musicians.

Does VW still play like this with the dystonia?
If these groove masters can't make that crowd at least Bob their heads they must not be listening to the same thing that I'm bouncing to 😁
Still kicking a## video 😅
What's that bass tone anyone?
How are you sitting in the front row and NOT bobbin TF outta your head?
Then the soul of the devil comes out at 40:03. Truly amazing work
I can play a drum machine like that too! Whats the big deal?!
30:33 Love that.
Well, maybe not THAT good! Respect!
Holy shit! Im glad Im not a drummer right now. Technology and that guy have just doomed the drummer career.
damnit man!
But lip flop still aint P-diddley squat for discipline!
This is terrible
