It’s a shame the audio is lacking, but the talent there has never lacked. Discovered Vic in the Navy…through some rough times at seas, this man sent unbelievable waves into my life and I chose to ride them. One of the best men you will ever meet too BTW. 🙏🏻 Thanks Victor ✌🏼
Reginald was my sons teacher on bass he did not learn who Regi Wooton was as, until while setting in with some guy's in Seattle, they ask how did he learn to play so well, him being a software engineer tech geek so he told them my dad ask a guy he met Regi Wooton to teach me bass. They dropped down to their knee's chanting, increadable you know him. Son Jonathan had no clue that Regi Wooton was a musical ICON thru the years I word's can't begin express to how grateful I am for him helping my son to become a great musician, he gave taught him that humility and grace are just as if not more is important. Thank you Regie I was just a guy who hanging out with the late drummer friend Kenny Bledsoe at the Exit Inn that nite.May God continue to bless youRobert Kyle
Why is it so easy to play along with this?? I think it is Victor's humaine attitude, or that within te family. He often seems to tell musicians: Just be yourself, and try something you may really like. It is family music, very social. He shows challenges, not competition or show offs. And here is with his family, all great musicians. They play like good brothers, listening carefully to each other, being connected in the one sound & groove they produce, showing what the fun of it all can be. I am not a very 'good' bassist, but I know the importance of very precise timing. And now the grooves are very humaine, they just drag me along. I could be on stage with Victor, and he would like what I do, seriously. You simply have to adapt to what is going on, and support what is going on, every moment again. If you can hear the ongoing changes of the character of the groove, you can add anything you like. Even two notes on the exact right time can sound great. It's all about good timing. "Just be yourself, and try something you may really like." Musically, you don't have to know much. You just have to know about 'intervals' between notes, and recognise them very quickly. But then!.. Playing along with this, is like pourring butter into an already delicious sauce.. Thanks to Victor and friends, many can be dragged in to what music making really is. They must know, what a big heart is..
To be able to use those advanced techniques while maintaining musical relevance is a combination of skills only single digits of bassists can legitimately claim And _Tha Teacha_ displaying mastery
I think regi should turn up more! He's so underestimated as a guitarist & he approaches the guitar is such a unique way.. he rarely uses a pick & he was one of the first guitarists ive seen utilize the guitar in such a rhythmic way, like a bass. (The teacher) but even great musicians of today like Tosin Abasi of Animals as leaders sought lessons from him on how to thump on a guitar & you can hear the influence in pretty much any AAL song. I'm hoping to see all 5 Wootens if this virus doesn't fuck up their next tour..
DAmn Reji IS KIllin It. he has such an amazing energy. always smiling , I would say musically a very underrated guy. and He is such a humble spirit. And Roy is a beast behind the Kit. i usually only see him playing his electronic drum-i-tar or what ever he calls it. but damn hes got chops
Is the thing Vic is doing on the last song where he counts down, is he counting out number of beats per measure as well as counting down to the end of the concert? Some seriously sick band chemistry/coordination.
Izvinjavam se svima koji ne znaju Slovenski tj. Srpski jezik.....ali sa obzirom ,gde se koncert desava, smatram da nije nepristojno....uostalom - Google Translate...Hvala na razumevanju...
I just saw this. glad I found this. wish they keep this going. I'd like to attend some of these in the US
Monsieur Victor wooten vous êtes un vrai , grand, heureux bassiste.vous êtes tout ce que jouer ou faire de la basse demande..amicalement

Victor's bass tone has to be the ultimate most complete bass tone.

El ronaldinho del bajo.... Que emoción ver a este tipo tocando, como cuando jugaba ronaldinho... Tan natural disfruta lo que hace...
hahahaha
One of the bass geniuses ! Victor, Stanley, Mohini Day, Marcus, Jimmy Haslip, Alderson etc....
My name is Mike Stern...hahaha love this guy! Thanks for sharing!
Victor live often names himself after his influences. Usually its Marcus or Stanley. Never heard him call himself Jaco, that might be blasphemy.
All about the Bass... Um Victor Wooten. Sooo cool.
Awesome show Wootens!
after learning of atonal music i enjoy this type of music alot more
I didn't know that's what you called this type of music
+Daniel Boynes its not but that kinda music helped me get into this
good luck on your next tour performing all the Pink Floyd classics
Klobouk dolu! - vydarenej koncert, jen tak dál!.

The Teacher is one of the top ten guitarists in the world - too bad few know that.

🔥🔥🔥🔥👌🏿👌🏿
Is the thing Vic is doing on the last song where he counts down, is he counting out number of beats per measure as well as counting down to the end of the concert? Some seriously sick band chemistry/coordination.

I have a same type effector but I have never used that effect.
田中マルクス just some top class looper
田中マルクス its actually a very affordable Zoom B3! I have one, it does up to 40 seconds loop, and has a bunch of effects!
phuriwat chiraphisit
Thank you so much!!
Cristi Tohatan Thanks!!
I'll examine it.

Does anybody not care that the audio is completely unsync'd from the video? not even sure if they are even the same thing.
dang isn't that a Lonnie Liston Smith cover with the sax? that was tasteful
Dat bass clef shirt tho
I love the cloths got me smiling for a while
drummer is like"i feel so cold here but at least my head feels warm, lucky i got a hat on"
Its sad that the sound doesnt sync up. Made me stop watching. Anyway Victor is soo cool and an inspiration to me. Hope to se him live some day

Many thanks !!
37:22 victors face 🤣🤣🤣🤣
that trick at 16:24
Love the music, thank you, but the interviews between each song makes it almost impossible to listen to.
yeah manbo-
why is the Bass drum set up the way it is??
Is that Dolpin Dance?
No wait, it's Naima, that's the one
I wonder what a victor wooten/les claypool collab would be like 🤔
Yea that would be insane
What is that first song?
It's "Flex".
Pa...nestao....!
These guys are always entertaining.
Goddamn tho.
U know?
Man the guitar player (Regi?) is like Holdsworth on acid...
Regi taught Victor how to play bass , how to slap , double thumb etc . . originally . . . Victor says he is the man behind them all .
For some reason, video seems to be out of sync with sound
:D I'm going with u gys !!
Got damn regi looks like he's swiping a credit card on the rare occasions he uses a pick. That thing is bigger than my amex
only me having problems with picture and sound totally out of sync?
@16:24 what a fucking legend.
Pitty the recording is not well synchronized...
I wonder if Futch ever forgets what he's doing and hits himself in the chest with a drum stick?
Why is the audience just sitting there?
the jam at 7:54!
Tom's Diner at 4:00 ;o)
the jizz at 9:24
Can someone make a tracklist? Because Obviously the OP is useless
I dont remember this being out if sync
Man I LOVE Victor Wooten but his bass lines are a bit far owt sometimes.
all of these humans are just digustingly filthy in every way possible
Futche is sweating
You gotta be kidding me man
fucking level
FODERA Bass . . .
fine taste of tabacco blended with 3 % gras :)
