Hi Joel, could you maybe do a “Top 5 grips” video (just like the top 5 speed rope video) or something comparable? There are so many grips out there nowadays, that it is very difficult to determine the advantages and disadvantages of each pair without buying them all.
I have had these grips for almost a year now, they said if you want to use chalk with them chalk your hand on the inside of the grip not the grip itself. Overall they're nice!
Initially comfy, these grips provide a good feel but peel despite careful care after a couple of months. There is a material difference between grips of the same model, resulting in a hit-or-miss quality and varying durability among users. They are slippery but offer reliable performance only briefly before peeling and tearing. I had terrible luck. I got the grips made out of not-so-good material, while a friend with the exact same grips got high quality.
so here in Brazil they are very popular, mainly because se have very few limited options but im glad its good compared the ones in the US like Bear komplex. they tend to get grease but just wash with soap, the neoprene while its confortable they get very sweaty and smelly
Those are terrible on the rings! For the bar they are ok, although they feel grippy they give me a feel that they gonna let me out! Also their price is crazy, too expensive! Overall I can’t say I’m happy purchasing those! 🤷🏻♂️
HA! Nice name! It's pretty rare to come across another person named Joel. Anyways, I just got a pair of Competition 2.0's that came today and I kept getting stuck to the bar and needed to be rescued each time. So, I couldn’t use them for the WOD. Obviously, I need to prep them somehow. How? I tried chalk but it only works once, if I regrip, I get stuck again. Thanks!
Oh, no!!!!! They make you blister? I don't want better grip. My grip is more than sufficient. I want blister protection because everyone puts tape on the bar and it jacks up my hands.
@@AMRAP i just bought these things! For rip protection. But they got stuck to the bar on one hand and I pulled something in my armpit and I had to be rescued. I don’t want grips. I want them to ban taping bars.
