I used to take about 11 tons of roofing trash 4 times daily to our local landfill. I built our local landfill mountain lol. It’s now a real mountain. It used to be a valley in the 90s. It was interesting to see how small a polyvinyl chloride old roof could be folded up and thrown away. Roofing debri is large. We fill landfills. I install solar now My comment today is in reference to the volume of trash created from solar. It’s huge. Many reroof first. Some reroof just after from all the roof traffic. Point being solar is enlarging landfill quickly hence all the reroofs. More than solar industry had assumed. It’s a huge amount of debris Not to even mention the recycling
That's a tough one. We had our roof changed with our solar install, but it was definitely time and we could have the roofer do a professional job on the supports. I suspect they should wear out at about the same time? If we need new solar, we should be able to leave the existing racks? We'll see--if I last that long myself!
@@pcatful. When I do remove reinstall I toss all flashings. But yeah most racking could be reused. But AHJ /regs will likely Chang and push you into a new inverter. TBD.
You really shouldn't stand between the truck and trailer when you dump if it pops off it will push forward and get you or sometimes when you have a heavy load when it let's lose it can pick up the back of the truck and push it over you

"up bear"
So they just let the old shingles rot in the yard since they don't recycle?

How else does he hold onto the button?
Mine has enough cord I can dump it from the driver seat and every one I've seen has a long cord
