I'm a new mom and decided to stay home with my baby. This has turned out to be both the toughest and most rewarding job I have ever had. At the end of the day, we are replaceable in the workplace but when it comes to caring for our family and home we are irreplaceable.
I love this! It definitely has it challenging days yet it’s SO rewarding! And yes, we are replaceable everywhere else, but I love knowing that my home is the number one place I’ve been graced for. 🧡 prayers for your new journey!

When I was growing up, I so wanted to take a course in home economics. I love home making. Fast forward came to the US got caught up with independent woman movement. I have reached top positions in corporate America, making money that some dream of. But God, am miserable , so miserable. Recently got married my husband now says I can stay home.

It’s a beautiful desire to have! This is the perfect time to begin prepping!
I just made a quick tiktok about the value of motherhood (not a mother yet) . But why motherhood isn’t a valid ambition anymore. It’s my dream to be a mother and to rear my kids well. And when they’re out of the house I plan to focus solely on my husband and myself but when we finally decide it’s time to have kids lol I’m so excited to be a mother, and that is my biggest dream and a lot of women will find that sad but I think that’s a noble dream. What’s more important than the future of our world. And raising well adjusted children imo is the most important part of creating a better future/world.

"If your house is nasty...hmmmm!" That made me laugh, and was also very convicting! You are so right. Everyone goes through seasons where it's hard to keep up and easy to get overwhelmed, but we also shouldn't make excuses. I see some confession and repentance in my future. Thanks for the encouraging words about homemaking! There truly is no more empowering or fulfilling job.

I feel hesitant and scared to just submit to men because i dont trust that they can take care of me or provide for me, it just doesnt make sense to submit to someone who will only guide you into the trash... most men i meet, dont give me submission vibes... i think this relationship dynamic becomes oppressive when you submit to a man solely because he is a man, when the point is submission and not proper guidance... bc then yes you will have women submitting to men who steal more than they give and thats oppressive . Just the standardization of submission regardless of a pretext is oppressive... unless you truly believe all men at any point of time in their lives are capable of utter authority. but i dont disagree with letting a man lead and re-delegating tasks to homemaking, for the woman... personally, i feel like the spiritual nature of homemaking is part of my femininity and i would like to have a lifestyle that would highlight that... its just not something i feel we can just walk into immediately, it all takes work and cultivation
