Meliz Cooks SUPER EASY Loaded Hummus

- Here’s another one of my most popular recipes. You can buy it in the shops but we’ve always made it from scratch, and I’m going to show you exactly how easy it is.
This is my loaded hummus which has a lovely fresh salad on top. All you need is some crusty bread to dip it in.
Ingredients
400g cooked chickpeas (soaked overnight and boiled / 1 x 660g jar or 2 x 400g can of good quality chickpeas
1-2 finely chopped garlic cloves (to your own taste)
5 tbsp tahini
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
40-60ml freshly squeezed lemon juice (to your own taste)
Garnish if you wish with a pinch each of paprika, sumac and pul biber, a drizzle of olive oil and finely chopped parsley.

Hey! I’ve come here from your Instagram which I love. The only tip I’d give you is to use the back end of the knife to scrape what you’ve chopped up, this way your knives will stay sharper for longer :)

Looks lush but my only problem was you emptying all that aqua faba down the sink, I would have used that to make vegan meringue’s lol afeyet olsun x
I’ve never used it to make vegan meringues - must try. Most of it went in the blender 😊👌🏼
It has to be from a jar or is ok to boil some raw cheakpeas?
Please feel free to soak and boil the chickpeas - I do that too, I just used them for a jar (the boiled quantities are listed below 😊👌🏼)
