I’m going full time soon. I guess I’m doing good? I’m loving out of the high cost of living here to do it, but I’m only at 3.7k subs and making 1/3 of what I need on Adsense to go full time. I will probably still do a part time job for a while out of fear lol.

All these traits are exactly what I had to discover and hone. I found Sean in 2016 after 4 years of making YT a hobby as a stay at home mom. I decided to make it a side hustle, thinking I would never want to be a solopreneur since my hubby and I already have a small brick and mortar business. Then 2 years later, the progress made me a solopreneur. Now this year I have been figuring out systems since my business is now in the scale phase, which I never thought would happen. And yes, I am working on sharpening the saw. Everything Sean says in this video is correct and perfect. If you want to go full-time, even while holding a full-time job, follow him. I put about 15 hours per week into my income streams on top of my full-time job. You can do it...and not burn out. All the best to you.

Man thank you so much for the constant encouragement! I’ve definitely burnt myself out more than once and I’ve only made around 70 vids! I find that it is really important to hear these things repeated every few months or so. So thank you! It’s so easy easy to get caught up in the momentum of productivity and then try to take on more than than I can handle. I make hiking and skiing video location guides and I recently messed up my back because I was editing at a desk all week between carrying cameras up and down mountains on weekends, not doing proper conditioning for what I was putting my body through to pump out those vids, not taking care of myself or not “sharpening the saw” as you said. My best work has always come out of the mentality that you have got to keep your head down and focus on the small wins, one video at a time because as soon as I get comfortable with my progress, I start to take my hard work for granted, divide my focus by taking on too much and then burn out from overdoing it. Then nothing gets done. Now I’m recovering, doing my PT twice a day and slowly getting get back into it. Thanks again man, much love and respect for everything you do 🙏 your book and videos are constantly reminding me how to stay on track and I know that when my channel “FinerBub” does finally support me full time, I will owe a great deal of that success to your teachings. Keep killing it and thanks again ✌️

@@MarioValentinoTV I started my fishing adventure's channel 6 weeks ago now :-) I had had a channel for years but never really understood any of the science or psychology of becoming a successful creator. So about 4 years ago I started learning how to become successful on UA-cam! So I haven't just jumped out of bed and gone out filming and posting willy hilly on UA-cam "LOL"
I had no experience in either film creation at all I knew how to use a camera thou :-) I have sat for many hours watching videos like your own and just random videos on UA-cam!
It's taken me 4 years almost to even start filming and editing my own videos! And I only started doing that practically 6 weeks ago! I knew the principle and also the software's frame work is very similar to the DAW that I use to produce music so I learned how to use the editing software in a matter of seconds :-) But I still have a lot to learn! And I have started a channel that will cost a lot just to make the videos! I started a Fishing adventure channel!
6 weeks ago I didn’t have a rod or reel! So over the last 6 weeks I've been spending little bits of money on very basic tackle etc.. Just so I could make a few videos of us out with fishing rods cause its winter the fish aren't as active and we didn’t catch a thing but a cold and some ice on the tips of our rods "LOL"
So last night I spent well over £300 to buy myself some proper fishing set ups and baits. It has cost me over £100 just to get the licenses and permeations to actually go out fishing :-/ I've had to get extra Go Pros and filming equipment.
So not only is it hard work every day! Trying to get fish "LOL" to bite just for a camera in all weathers come hail, sun, rain or sub-zero temperatures iv even fallen in the river "LOL" Then the sitting down watching and editing footage all night it is very hard work.
And I'm not even at 100 subscribers yet but 43 in 6 weeks and my videos have mostly all got over 100 views some nearly 400. I'm actually proud of myself for once and most of it has been through learning from other UA-cam Creators like yourself :-)
And please all you new creators don’t be put off by my post!! You do NOT! Need to spend the money I am to get started!! I have chosen a topic that requires me to have the correct equipment to actually get the content I have chosen for my channel!
So it doesn't need money to start off a good channel at all! I have just chosen that route to go down!
But if you guys would like to see a new channel as it starts from scratch both learning how to be a UA-cam creator, film editor and getting myself back into one of the world's oldest sports Fishing Come on over and show your support to a new growing channel! But always remember don’t give up and keep posting as much content as you can as often as you can!!
And watch this man's videos I've learned so much that way from other creators on UA-cam!!

My problem is I’m always waiting for the next thing to come, then I feel like I can get going. I just went all in on a pc which will really give me no excuse to not go all in, but I could totally be doing stuff in the meantime (before it arrives) and just can’t bring myself to. It could be that my job is changing and becoming demanding, and it could be me just developing my strategy so I’m going into this smart. I think I have a pretty good idea for a lot of what u talked about so I actually felt encouraged by a lot of what u were saying. Thanks for the vid, haven’t been around for a while.

It’s funny actually, the ones that I work hardest on and edit like three evening, I get less views than the ones where I just sit and talk to camera for 15 mins hahaha. But it’s ok, I love filming and editing the more visually cool videos

Kind of fell into it, but learning quickly, editing, color, lighting, its ALOT to get things right and I appreciate channels like yours helping the little fish like me. Thanks again! Oh, my goal, part time, full time would be RAD but I like to be realistic :). Good advice, I have been grinding for months now, and what I like the most is my audience, learning, and watching other more successful folks.

I was blown away how well they were received, however, I fell out of the routine since I had to focus on my health, and now I feel intimidated again to be on camera and do all the hard and long editing work. But it is in my heart to serve and give back and I need to recommit to putting valuable content out there and know that others can benefits from what I have to share. I'm 32. I've made a lot of mistakes, and live in a house with my parents and sister which we gave the down payment money for.
We aren't appreciated. We were taken advantage of. My sister paid off my My Mom's debts to get approved for the house. And we ran out of money a few months later, only to be guilted about it every day by our folks.
I'm starting a bunch of UA-cam channels to hopefully one day provide a better life for me and my sister, because we deserve so much better then this.
Pray for us. The pain and regret takes such a tole on us.
