I love so much in this video that I have to bullet point it: - I love the animations in the intro - Love the new outro - Love seeing more 'alcoholed' Emma - Loved seeing Fukushima beyond what it is well known for - Love seeing a bit of 'real' Japan Your videos are like comfort food for the soul, just what the world needs right now!
Yes! Actually she said that the only reason we took them off was so that they were easy for us to take home. And that the leaves are used in compost for the next round of vegetables ☺️
@@TokidokiTraveller oh I like that, not letting anything go to waste : ) I'll have to come here and pick some daikon radishes myself once Japan reopens. Can't wait to experience more of the countryside and fresh veggies and fruits and cook authentic foods at workshops and stuff. Really experience that Japanese culture.
It brought me way too much joy to see Dickies, Ft Worth, Texas on her coveralls. 🤣I live in Reykjavik, Iceland now but, Fort Worth, TX native right here 🙌🏾. Also, love your videos!
Wow going from Texas to Iceland is a HUGE difference! 😆 I was crushed when WOW Air shut down because I really wanted to visit at those crazy affordable prices 😢 still on my wishlist to visit though!
@@kate-ne Made a pit stop in NYC for 19 years but yes, VERY different. Really missing sunlight right about now. Fingers crossed you'll be able to cross it off your list soon 🙂
Stories like the one of Koiso san always inspire me so much. He and his mom lost their home, he had to quit his job so he could stay with his mom, people told him he wasn't able to open an izakaya and in the end this man just pulled it off ! After losing home and job, managing to start a while new business from scratch is just amazing !
I loved the bit at the end where the owner of the bar talked about Fukushima and the nuclear incident it's still a very really thing to be worried about in japan i'm glad someone is still talking about it
Unfortunately none of these youtubers are talking about the fact that it's not safe to be travelling right now in Japan. Hospitals are reaching capacity and some people are getting turned away. Deaths are increasing too. The fact that she's travelling everywhere despite all that is incredibly selfish.
Thank you so much for featuring Fukushima, and Iwaki in particular. I lived there from 2007 to 2012 and it is a wonderful place with wonderful people. Every time I've been back it's been great to see more improvements since the earthquake. I can't wait to visit again and get more alcoholled, too.
I love the little animations at the beginning!!! I'm in the process of moving to Japan (once travel starts up again) and your videos have been a huge help while we wait!!
That was such a hard switch at the end from singing to “ I need to go to bed”! 😂😂 I nearly spat out my tea! Love your personality Emma! Keep up your energy, we all love it here❤️
Not a few seconds after I was thinking "Did she say goodbye to the dog?🥺" she actually proceeds to do exactly that.👌😍 Doggo seems very friendly and well behaved. I love him 😭
On a different note from my other comment- In America it's not New Years Eve yet, it's tonight still. I can think of no better way to end off this year than watching Emma videos. Always enjoyable. I'm not a drinker, but I think it might be fun to try that drinking tour with a group, meet new people. Love the video!
I miss my 20s and being able to put away so many fun drinks lol. At 41, I have become a cheap date, half a cocktail and I'm toast 🤣...I love tours like this, local food and drink and learning about the local trades...so fun! You had a very nice guide and group of people to tour with too!
I'd enjoy the farm and restaurant tour you went on in Fukushima! I had no idea they'd replaced the top 30cm of soil after the accident. Beautiful hills and town, so much to see. What a cool place to visit!
I love your editing style, the way you make your videos, the way you edit them. Adding visualizations on screen. Just absolutely love it. Thanks for being awesome.
hello! i am from america. your content is so calming and sweet and appreciate your channel. it’s a great distraction and i’m glad that elsewhere life is going normal ( as it can be in rona times) peace
Iwaki is my japanese hometown - i remember buying a yam from that guy my first week there. Watching this made me so happy. Im back in the US now and ive been missing iwaki so much. This is just what i needed!!
Your videos always cheer me up! I enjoy your editing style & the fact that your working on some of your own tunes. The little animations you added in the beginning are cute! New outro is 👍👍 Thanks for keeping up the good work. 😎
Totally blew away that finish line Emma! 👍🏻💥 When you make a finish line explode, that’s the best time to check out the back streets! I mean, you never know what you might find, right? 😉
I just LOVE your editing in this! Been watching since tiny apartment had about 100,000 views and I always look forward to watching your videos :) ps Tommy is cute! 😍
I really enjoyed this video. I enjoy this sort of traveling ("hey, I booked a trip to a turnip farm, and they even make turnip wine!"), and it reminds me of the many good times we've taken over the past 30 years. Here's a good thought looking forward to when we can travel again.
This tour arrangement is awesome 😎 If they have more of these experience tours, I would be interested. Guess these are for chosen ones but I like that.
Oh, I don't know what I want to do more, if to go farming or to go izakayaing in Fukushima! Everything seems lovely! (And you significantly more alcoholed are adorable, never change Emma.)
Hahaha spot on impression of the ominous yaki-imo man 😂 Thanks for another fun video Emma ! Have been wanting to do a farmstay ever since I saw your Oita video 🌱
Hi Emma, I so enjoyed watching your videos so much and your adventures around japan also the do's and don'ts especially when you're alittle drunk it was most enjoyable and funny. Stay safe Emma and the Tokyo Creative Teams too.
You're so funny and cute when you're slightly drunk 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Fukushima looks like an beautiful area to visit. Hopefully when this pandemic is over. Nice video!!
That drunken rant at the end of the video reminded me off that late night when me and my girlfriend fought with the words in an effort to explain to the police officers that we weren't drinking (we were 15 years old at the time) nor drunk, nor we had anything to do with the 2 bottles of vodka they found out in my school bag.
Emma while editing this: Imma mess - let's put that in LMAO!! Also, I went for picking vegetables when I was young, in my country, and it always ended in a huge drinking fest too, LOL!!!
"I am significantly more alcoholed than when this started" is absolutely my new favourite way of saying I'm slightly drunk. XD
Funfact: that‘s basically how you say it in German „alkoholisiert sein“ so basically being alcoholized, is being drunk 😅
Drinking too much is a life philosophy I can get behind. Fukushima looks class!
this could have been you daniel
Cool to see you at Emma’s channel! I hope 2021 is treating you well.
rumble tumble games?
It’s a beautiful area! And the alcohol was pretty dang good too tbh 😂

Tipsy Emma is a pretty fun thing to witness.
She’s either trying her best to string a sentence together or she’s falling asleep 😂
@@TokidokiTraveller Why not both?! Have a great 2021, we're looking forward to sharing it with you.
Who else expected a Screaming Mandrake when they pulled those cute veggies off the ground? 😂
Yes even the leaves looked like Mandrake
Drunk Emma stumbling her way through that outro absolutely slayed me.
I kinda want an entire Drunk Emma video now!
She was drunk?
FYI: daikon radish leaves are often cut off but are actually really delicious
