I still have a Windows XP PC with the old Line 6 Editor software for both the POD and Bass Pod that I still use. It actually has almost all the same functions this new version has. Don't care what the haters say, there are some great sounds in both of those old units. Rock on!

I'm sold on it! I plan on running this pedal through the effects loop of my Friedman JJ as a multi effects pedal without the cab or amp simulation turned on.
Impulse control is a loose term for reactance. Rocktron rack mount stuff can control reactance; but impulsivity is kind of a digital sink. Replace the speaker if you want more pulse.
Hey, I've got an old VHT PIttbull 45, and I'm looking for an inexpensive multi effects box to run in my FX loop. Ultimately, I'd like to run it in parallel mode, but the direct signal would have to be turned all the way down so that it is all wet. Not sure if you can adjust the mix of clean and fx. If I run it in series I'm not suree if the direct signal tone would remain the same and not have EQ changed for the worse.
This looks GREAT. I sold my Pod Express in part because i just couldn't commit all the different press-this-button-and-that-button-at-the-same-time-then-turn-this-knob control scheme to memory. This Editor software is so clean and functional looking without clutter or overload. I am going to buy another one!
Hell yes, I love this thing! But I haven't wanted to mess around with the stock settings because I can't remember what I last configured something to. This is a very welcome update.
Every time technical advances are made, I have to laugh and think about the days of packing heavy combos and half stacks up several flights of stairs 😅. Another awesome video, as always Fluff! Cheers!
Give the editor the ability to load different HX amps and drive pedals onto the unit as replacements for the existing choices and you'd have the winner of all winners.
Can't wait to utilize this tool with the Pod Express Bass. The only really usable preset on there IMO is the Studio amp sim with some minor EQ tweaks, this will give me a chance to really dig into the SVT and Darkglass emulators, and make them actually usable 😅
Axe fx is a step up from line 6 but line 6 is more affordable and easier to use. So options seem more reachable. I want be able to to eq different speakers like on the 5 speaker WIFI LINE 6 amp
I guess I'm glad I couldn't sell mine? I thought the tones were pretty good, just wished it had a little more tweakability. I would say if you're on a budget and don't already have an HX Stomp though to save your money on this and wait to get an HX Stomp.
I wish they'd put their amps into the HX One form factor. I have purchased 2 HX One pedals now, for my bass and guitar pedalboard. I don't know if I want the full capability of a Helix. But an HX One sized pedal with Helix amps would be killer.

I'd consider switching from my Helix LT to the POD Express for live performances if that were that case. Could you imagine? Roll up to the show with a guitar case or two (I like bringing a backup guitar) containing all your necessary gear to play live.

I'm not sure if that is what could be causing it but saw this warning label (below) posted on the download page and thought to mention it in case Attention! Microsoft has changed/updated their methods for validating software downloaded from the internet. The Smart Screen Feature in Internet Explorer 11 / Edge (see image below) appears to corrupt Windows downloads from our website. When this feature is disabled, the download appears to be fine. We suggest momentarily disabling this feature when downloading from our site.
I wish Boss Katana software was more like this, like the Chorus, I don't want high cut, low cut, high depth, low depth, hz etc, I dont need to be able customize every parameter..... Would like a setting that just gives you Level, Rate and Depth
Something I dont understand, is how companies with similarly priced multifx pedal have the capacity to load your own IR's but Line 6 is kinda like meh, we dont do that here. other than that, this is an almost perfect product and sounds amazing.

You can put all 21 presets on the pedal. There are three colour banks for each of the 7 amp settings on the dial

same here. they lost me with the plastic case. there was no way this would go on my pedal board.
question is how long will it be supported? the firehawk was dropped pretty quickly turning it into an expensive paperweight.
