I’m pan, and when I rarely go, I just love the physical prowess, mastery and empowerment that can be brought from it. Like anything, there is good and bad, sad and happy, but those women work fucking HARD and deserve respect and a safe place to earn that money because they provide it for us too. Hearing all of that insanity and then "it's only ninety pages" made me feel every single negative emotion a human is capable of all in the same instant and I think my brain tried to hit the kill switch.

I like that Aeons says that dark/nasty topics shouldn't be "disallowed" in fiction, but you also shouldn't mislead your audience like this book is doing. Like, if I only looked at the cover and heard about it being erotica, I would think this was about a young woman who likes to tease guys/girls and has fun doing it (which is a super hot premise for an erotic book, erotic doesn't need to be super deep). This is the same as someone writing a gory violent fic and not putting any tags about it having gore and just describing the story as "action packed" ajkhfajkfhj

The first time I watched this was while I was sitting on the boat parked on my uncle's ranch in the New Mexico desert as the sun went down. I’m pan, and when I rarely go, I just love the physical prowess, mastery and empowerment that can be brought from it. I like that Aeons says that dark/nasty topics shouldn't be "disallowed" in fiction, but you also shouldn't mislead your audience like this book is doing. Like, if I only looked at the cover and heard about it being erotica, I would think this was about a young woman who likes to tease guys/girls and has fun doing it (which is a super hot premise for an erotic book, erotic doesn't need to be super deep).
This is the same as someone writing a gory violent fic and not putting any tags about it having gore and just describing the story as "action packed" ajkhfajkfhj

Oh man, the strip club thing. I'm 29 now but when I was closer to 23 I went into one to watch the ladies because I'm gay AF, but all these older men kept hitting on me cause they thought I was there for a... different reason and I left quickly. Biggest waste of $30 in my life, never again.
