The farmer behind my place sprayed the weeds in grass pasture, it drifted onto my young hybrid poplars, the leaves all fell off, then re grew deformed, and stunted them for a year or more.
It was severe at the end of last year whatever they were spraying 😏 Some of the flowering shrubs are dead. At the time I looked up when they were allowed to spray, and they were spraying illegally 😠 Thanks for sharing 👍🏻 🍀
Ist eucalyptus nitens the best option for cold climates? and I read that eucalyptus trees crowd out other plants because they pollute the soil with their oil...
They have been hardy to around -8℃ for a couple of weeks. Parvula, Urnigera, Glaucescens, Subcrenulata and Dalrympleana would be more hardy. I have left everything that was here before; Beech, Oak, Willow, Hawthorn, Blackthorn, as well as all the non-tree plants. Everything is thriving 🙂 I don't spray any chemicals 😉 Thanks for taking the time 👍🏻 🍀
