Great review and well described. Love this one! Nothing about Guerlain Vetiver seems dated or old man to my nose. Fresh cut green grass near a wooded forest, a bit of lemongrass with the citrus note, a tiny bit spicy & smoky, a touch of dryness...a walk by Lake Michigan after they just mowed the lawn in the park across the way. A classic IMHO.

Hi Daniel. You did great review. You need to try Guerlain Homme EDP Parfum. It's very nice just like Guerlain Vetiver.
Have you ever tried Guerlain Vetiver Extreme.

Hi, nice review. I was thinking of getting this but I'm a bit worried as some reviews have said this smells very dated and gives off an old man smell. There is no way for me to try this first where I live so I have to blind buy it online. What are your thoughts as far as being able to rock this in modern times seeing as this was created in 1961?

How does this stack up against Grey Vetiver?

Grey Veitver is smoother, less smokey, more of a citrus element to it. It also has that Tom Ford smoothness, where Guerlain Vetiver is smokey and more zesty.
