I have a OneX player mini pro 6800u. I had planned on the Ally but the performance didn't really impress over the 6800u not to mention all the current issues. I think I'll wait till the 8000 series comes along for an upgrade
@@retrohandheldsI use my G-cloud to stream from my PC and PlayStation probably more then anything I own because I don't have to constantly tinker with tdps and micromanage everything. It just works and has forever battery. I'm getting tired of having to mess with stuff so much I've done it for far to many years on laptops before handheld PCs came along. I know Aish has been pushing the G cloud in conversations lately but it's impossible to recommend for the price so I don't bother. I bought mine used on the cheap and it's worth every damn penny. ❤
Great review, Stubbs! This is impressive given the price, the size, battery life and low tdp performance! It really seems like a great deal if you were to compare the 7840u version to the Ally. Really impressed by how many games you could run at 5w tdp! But not for me, too expensive and since I play AAA games at home, streaming w/moonlight is good enough for me, but I'm really loving all the diversity! Just imagine what we had just 2 years ago.
Also my fav handheld. I love it for playing retro psp all the way up to my pc games. I stay plugged in for those long gaming sessions but it’s so comfortable and has great weight to it. And the wrist strap is a game changer.
I am on the fence with these X86 handhelds, been waiting for a Gamevice Flex for my S23 Ultra as my phone is 6.8" and it looks good while streaming games in full screen mode using Parsec or XBPlay. The thing is I feel like I wish my screen was just a bit bigger, especially when trying to read inventory items in Diablo 4. How do you like using a 6" screen on the Win4? I don't own a steamdeck or an ally yet but worry about eye strain. I own a gaming laptop and desktop but want something chill for when laying on your back.

@@jungshookingPSP and Vita look mostly the same, dude. PSP has the angular corners that this Win 4 has. But the Vita has the two analog sticks while PSP only had that nipple thumb stick. Win 4 has elements of both since PSP and Vita look mostly the same.

I love this PC, BUT It's very dense/heavy and the controls feel a bit cramped. I love it, though. I just find myself grabbing the Steam Deck first every time.
It's almost as if talking about fan noise is actively avoided, not any hate to this specific video, but every single video either mutes gameplay, refuses to mention the fans, or plays music over the gameplay. With sensitivity to high pitched noises it's almost impossible to find a review that goes into this. :(

I had it and eventually returned it . Super noisy and getting hot on right part of device and very heavy in hands . The keyboard and mouse sensor are great features though. Bought an ally instead 😊
They should have put another screen under it and went with virtual keyboard. So it could or would have the option on making it play ds and 3ds with dual screen.
man, i shope that someone like xiaomi or poco would make something like the ktr1 but with a better soc that can do at least ps2 2x res, would be great, something around 250 dollars.
