I upgraded from an X to a 15 Pro in a Natural Titanium. The camera and ProMotion screen have been the biggest improvements for me in general. I initially experienced random overheating doing simple tasks like setting up contact posters or browsing websites in Safari, but lately the device has behaved as you’d expect.

Using iOS 17.0.3 on my iPhone 15 Pro. Overall performance and battery have been great. I have not experienced any of the overheating issues that seem to have everyone so concerned. At this point, I have been curious if these initial reported issues were repeating or simply isolated to the set-up of individual devices. My battery life has been good to great, ranging from heavy use to moderate activity. My preference is with the size and pocket able 6.1" iPhone 15 Pro. I easily get an all-day battery with plenty to spare after a busy day. I am enjoying the upgrade. So far, I have no regrets.
Man I love my 15 Pro but even my 12 Pro Max with 83% battery life would get better battery throughout the day. Its so frustrating how they keep neglecting the normal Pro battery. I know the cameras take up a ton more space but still, they need to figure something out to improve battery. We are getting to the point where if you use your phone heavily through the day you almost NEED a Max.
@eliezergutierrez2472 I believe it to be worth it. My recommendation would be to order the device you want and try it out. I often try out a new device, and if it doesn't meet my expectations, I will return it during the two week period after I receive it.
i had my iphone 15 pro 6.1 for about 10 days and so far its been amazing im coming from a samsung galaxy note 9 from 2018 to the new iphone 15 pro i havent had to deal with overheating issues or any software issues or anything, i am loving my iphone 15 pro
the battery has been good and it lasts for one day depending how you use it, the first 3 days i was going hard on it and i used it normally ever since all of those rumors about the iphone 15 pro having overheating and it breaking easily are all fake rumors the only way to break the phone if you use it without a case and slam the phone but im not gonna try that, but the phone has been amazing @@sinupadur
Upgraded from an XS Max to the 15 Pro Max. Pre-ordered it and got it on the day of launch. The upgrade to the cameras (front and back) was very significant. Also, the USB-C port makes it so convenient to back up photos directly to an external hard drive without having to go through iTunes or any laptop. No overheating issues for me. Phone has been working great, battery life is good. Still have not made up my mind on the action button though.
I got a 15 pro - switched from my Samsung Galaxy Flip 4 after using it for about a year. I like the flip phone, it's fun and portable and good to look at. The screen protector peeled off twice though and it's really a hassle bringing it back to the repair centre. I've been switching between iOS and Android phones so the experience has been ok. The 15pro does its job, and my action button is set to switching modes. While I'm working, I turn on the focus mode. I don't have overheating issues but the battery could have been even better.
I’m still using a 13Pro max. It works fine. It’s unlocked and would cost $1000 for the 15Pro max after trade in. Not worthwhile. When it stops working, that’s when I’ll by another one, the newer one.. Casetify phone cases break after one drop, expensive & ugly. ZIZO brand are military grade plus better material quality. I hate the battery life on my iPhone 15 Pro. My first upgrade since owning 12 Pro for a long time. I felt like the battery life span on 15 Pro is as quick as my 12 Pro at 90% max capacity.
Even though I don't usually like to compromise, I was starting to align with Kyle's comment in the summing-up section about preferring the standard 15; it's 10% lighter, it's £200 cheaper, I probably like the matte finish more, and I'm not a big (phone) camera user. Of course, I was looking forward to getting a new phone with a refresh rate higher than 60Hz, but I've never had that so I don't suppose I'll miss it. The faster USB-C port might have been handy too. The thing is, if I went for a Pro, I feel that I should really go for the 256GB version at least, and then the price difference is £300. One thing I need to research before I decide is how well the always-on screen function of the Pro works, what the battery drain is like, and if people are happy with it. As someone who has continued to bemoan the demise of the notification light on smartphones and doesn't pick-up his phone much, I like the idea of it coming up on the Pro and attracting my attention, but I wouldn't want to be pestered with every single update notification, just texts and missed calls if possible.
Coming from the 12 mini to the 15 pro 2 weeks in. Love it! although does get hot after doing some graphics heavy gaming for 10 minutes, but that’s been my experience with every iPhone I’ve owned. Great battery life! The biggest improvement from the mini. Very pleased but I’ll miss the mini size.
I could have written this myself. I’m coming from the 13 mini because I couldn’t deal with the battery life anymore but the size of the 13 was perfect for me. Still getting used to the size of the 15 Pro but the battery life is so much better.
@@ritchiewlc the deciding factor for me was the screen having very thin bezels, super light weight, and it’s actually not as big as other phones (like the reg 15). I really barely notice the size bump. It’s just the extra stretch my fingers have to make to grip it. But it’s not much more, really. It’s an easy transition, I say go for it! (The 15 pro)
I just upgraded from the base iphone 14 to the 15 pro max. I haven't had a max since the 11 pro max and I gotta tell you it's definitely a treat. I never used promotion until now and the screen is amazing. Never going back to base iphones again after this hahah

Bought the 15 plus over the pro / pro max, as theres some extra camera features like pro res / proRAW that I dont really use, and those files takes up a lot if I choose to do that 😂 Im liking 15 plus (black), the 48mp camera (able to take up to 8K resolution photos with resolution control enabled), even on regular iphone 15 plus! Im SO surprised by the image quality, and the battery lasts long without having the need to constantly charging!! This is more than enough for ordinary person like myself, who dont need an overpowered iphone to take very excellent images/videos. The 15 plus is legit the better one in my opinion ❤
Thanks...It seems that the pro max version is the only phone that's getting all the attention....I just got the pro mainly because I appreciate the smaller size. Coming from an XS Max I found it was always just a bit too large for putting in my pockets and just a tad too wide for comfort holding it in my hand....Remember when the big status symbol used to be who had the smallest phone?
Just bought the 15 pro and one week after I couldn't be happier, no heat issues, no overall issues, everything is perfect, the cameras are so fun and the 120hz on an Iphone just hits different, coming from an Iphone 12 this is such a big change
Thats the main thing. I think if apple put 90 or 120hz for base 15. People will forget about Pro because not everyone need 5x zoom camera and titanium body etc 😂

People can buy the pro models for different reasons, it’s not only about the 120hz screen The base model should have the 120hz screens already, for God sake
I went from a 13 Pro Max to a 15Pro! The only con is just a shorter battery life than the pro max. I downsized because of it fits better in the hands and pockets.
Will be curious how the battery continues to feel. My wife is coming from a 75% iPhone 11 and the battery feels shot. She’d be pretty disappointed if her new phone’s battery is as miserable as her old one.
Believe me when saying, I owned almost all 2023 flagships: s23u, iphone 14pro, xiaomi 13u, oppo find x6pro, honor magic 5pro, pixel 7pro...and now iphone 15 pro max...so I have pretty good understanding about pros and cons of these devices. I can only say that the worst overall by far were xiaomi and honor. 15 pro max is overall the best phone I've owned in 2023, followed by oppo and s23ultra, followed by pixel 7 pro. I skipped Huawei due to lack of google services, 5G and snapdragon 8 gen 1 with ardeno 730. Iphone 15 pro max is the best camera I have ever had in any phone, period! No overheating issues, no lagging, no structural failures, no burn in screens... But in the end it comes down to which ecosystem you prefer. For instance, I use specific apps for mucic which are only available on IOS.
got the 15 pro in 256 GBS in Natural Titanium from a 12 mini. i got it after the overheating update and its preformed perfectly after about a year of freezing and lagging on my older phone.
I just got my 15 pro a few days ago and I’m loving it I always had the pro max in the 13 and 14 but the pro feels nice in my hand not too big and not too small. I have learned that bigger isn’t always better 😊. I have my action set to turn on my flashlight because that’s what I use most often whether I’m looking for something or using the bathroom at night it’s nice to just hold the button for the flashlight.
One, my iPhone 15 Pro does not overheat. Two, most phones will break if you bend them hard enough, or break if you drop them without a case on, which is pretty bloody obvious. (I don’t know anyone that uses their phone without a case, whatever the brand) If shit worries you, take out Apple Care, or some kind of insurance, and move on with your life. I had the “bendgate” iPhone, the so called fragile IPad Pro, never broken any of them. I’ve had two Samsungs break. So guess what brand I continue to buy?
I have one and love the phone. However, the quality of the product isn't there anymore. I think it's because the iPhones are made in India now, where the labor laws are cheaper than in China. Mine is currently being serviced after only 60 battery cycles for a swollen battery. I went to the Apple store tonight and had a tech look at it. He said it was a software issue. I came back 30 minutes later, and it wasn't booting up. Two other techs noticed the screen was popping out and low and behold I have a swollen battery. I've owned iPhones since the iPhone 2, and in all my iPhones I've never had a hardware defect on the battery that Apple's diagnosis shows wasn't the issue. Now I have to wait for a repair, hopefully it can be fixed but I have my doubts.
Bought the 15 pro natural/256GB. It’s been great. Pro Log has been fun to use. AOD is awesome coming from a 12 Pro max. Even better battery (optimization & newer)
when you go through your videos, the sound is turned off automatically. You have to press unmute all the time. It's annoying. It wasn't like that on my previous iPhone 11
Thanks for a no nonsense review. I’m sick of endless comparisons with other makes of smart phones. The operating system is also important I have tried others and still prefer Apple 👍👍
The dynamic island cutting into the screen when i'm trying to watch a video is the one and only reason I am skipping this year. The notch doesn't cut into the screen when watching a video, so it was a better solution. I'll wait till next year, maybe they raise the dynamic island a bit? Or do a punch hole that is less obtrusive?
I can't comment on the 15 Pro since I recently purchased the 14 and won't be upgrading for a while. I can say that I like benefitting from the trickle down effect I get when Apple releases patches and updates. And I always enjoy your videos.
I have an XS Max as well and my battery life is horrendous. I have to carry a charger everywhere I go. Definitely switching to the 15 pro max for the battery.
no issues for my unit, no heating problem and really best upgrade for me. its only a propaganda not to buy iphone15, i have iphone15promax and works fine full day used as im working in a shipping industry which is very functional.
The main point for me is battery, and the 15 Plus has insanely good battery compared to both Pro models. Unless you actively use the “Pro” software features and care a ton about a 120 hz screen that drains battery faster, the base 15s make the most sense for a majority of people.
Hey Kyle, I am quite in doubt between Pro and Pro Max because the battery life. I pretend to upgrade from my iphone 12, and I want a phone with a good battery (my 12 has terrible battery life) but I enjoy the size of the regular Pro. What you recommend me to do?
The 15 Pro Max has the best battery life out of every IPhone but even if you get just the 15 Pro it will definitely feel like a big upgrade from your 12

On the other hand the Pro has a great size and when I need a bigger screen I already have an iPad. I have the 15 Pro Max and I haven't had any heating issues. Even when I play Diablo Immortal for an extended period of time it still runs quite cool compared to other phones that I have played it on (S22 Ultra, iPhone 13 Pro). I don't use Instagram so I haven't encountered that issue. Battery life has been awesome and I haven't managed to drain the battery completely in a day, even when I play Diablo. The camera has been phenomenal. I'm really impressed with the clarity, colours and HDR from the main sensor. The Ultra wide is decent but not amazing and the telephoto has been really good other than a few images I have gotten where there was a lot of noise in the image. I think it's probably a software thing that they can fix in an update. It just needs more AI smoothing and noise reduction I think, depending on the lighting and zoom levels. I am also massively impressed with the video quality, especially the stabilisation. I took a 5x video out of the window of a moving car the other day, using action mode, and the result was amazingly smooth. Also I have taken video with the main sensor while snowboarding and filming my girlfriend and it was crazy smooth. I showed my friend and part way through the video I reminded him that I am snowboarding and he was like "wow I didn't even think about that, it's so smooth". Very happy with the phone overall and its a noticeable improvement over the 13 Pro I had before.
My 15 plus earspeakers rattle at full volume which is frustrating, tried all the 15 series at the store and everything sounded same. Why is no one addressing this issue
I got an iPhone 12 Pro Max unlocked thinking about upgrading was waiting for apple to finally kick the lightning adapter. I use an outer box case and I’m definitely interested in the casetify definitely will look into it if I upgrade
I really feel that we should stop normalizing usage of phone cases, I have never used a case on any of my phones, 13P, 14P (including old Androids like Nexus 5, OnePlus 5 etc.) Up until now I haven't faced any issues but I see there is an increasing amount of people suggesting and advertising phone cases, especially for iPhones, probably because they are expensive. A phone should be able to withstand minor impacts. The more we normalize cases, more brittle they are going to become in the future. Personally I don't understand why would I buy an expensive phone and put it in a case, in that sense, talking about the phone's design, makes zero sense, because at the end of the day the case is going to decide the design.

Coming from the 14promax, I downgraded to a Xs, anticipating the release of the 15pros. BUT when they released, I just bought 14 pro instead, Max was too big. The 15 has many downsides. The coating on the Titanium easily scratches. There were overheating issues on some devices. The Glass easily cracks, imagine accidentally dropping it without a case, the 14 was more durable. I originally planned to have the 15Pro my last iPhone as I am also tired upgrading every year, maybe the 16 would be it. If not, deym i'll just stick with this 14Pro.
The camera does cropping in MOST modes. There are only 3 real lenses. Everything else is a crop. Try to zoom to 77mm then look at it close. Compared to the Samsung s23 Ultra, it's crap. They should have added a fourth lens.
I think the iphone 16 pro is the better size for compact phones which is 6.4inch it is not small but compact bocz of the bezel makes it compact phone still that can easily fit on pocket unlike the brick of max pro. And for that size 6.4 inch so the battery will be bigger also and the result compact iphone 16 pro will last daily normal use for a day and a half night till close to midnight the battery performance
Won't upgrade until they have a true full screen display (rumor for next year) or we have a battery improvement. My 11 Pro Max would easily last two days for the first 1-2 years. I'm at 4 years right now and my battery health is better than my friend's one year old iPhone 14... not a good look for Apple.
I never understood the “limit my battery to 80 % out of the box” so that it does not degrade to 80 % over three years. What sense does that make? Like shooting myself in the foot now so that I can walk with crutches to protect my knee?
strange analogies aside, let me help you out - if you're at a desk or in a space where your phone is frequently on a charger (or you just don't use a ton of battery life throughout the day), having your battery percentage limited to 80% not only makes little consequence to you over the day because you rarely ever see your battery drain down, but it also increases the longevity of your battery if you plan on keeping it for a long time or retaining a higher resale value for when you go to sell it. People have been doing this with laptops for over a decade.
i'm still debating on weather to go for the pro max or pro. I currently have 11 pro max and sometimes it's too big. I would like to try the compact 6.1 size. I use my phone for consuming media, netflix, tiwtter etc. 11 pro max sometimes feel big but all in all i'm pretty use to it and often use it with one hand. But it still looks so biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig. Will i get use to the 6'1 if i go with the pro?!
Just got my 15 pro in coming from the 13 pro max. Definitely realized a big difference in overall comfort holding the phone and one handed use. It weighs less and I could notice the difference holding it in hand. I have pretty big hands as well but this feels like just the right size.
Exactly, I also dunno which one to get. I have iPhone XR and wanna transition to 15 Pro / Pro Max. I consume a lot of content on the phone (Manga, Netflix, UA-cam, reading articles). I originally went for the 15 Pro and switched to 15 Pro Max. I went to the Apple store like 10x times to see which one I like better but still unsure. In the end, I am getting the Max model. I will have it for 14 days and if its too big I will return it and buy the Pro model. PS. I would get the 15 Plus were it not for the 60 Hz display.

Was dead set going to get a normal 15 as it seemed fine for a upgrade from an iPhone 7 I saw the Pro model in store and changed my mind and wanted a 15 Pro Now after seeing this I think the 15 Pro is full of a lot of BS that I wont even use Now I don't know what Im going to get
The pro is more future proof. I just upgraded from an 8 plus. Trust me, the usb 3.0 speeds alone are a huge deal for transferring photos if your storage runs out.
Just received the 15 Pro but to early to comment on battery life. I've always been a Plus and Pro max user, but recently found the size a bit of a hinderance, plus the beta version of ios 17 killed my 14 pro max battery life.😢

i've been using the 15 Pro Max for a month now and have had zero issues with it. it's an amazing phone.

You should usually give a new iPhone a week or two to calibrate with your usage and regulate the battery consumption

Thanks...It seems that the pro max version is the only phone that's getting all the attention....I just got the pro mainly because I appreciate the smaller size. Coming from an XS Max I found it was always just a bit too large for putting in my pockets and just a tad too wide for comfort holding it in my hand....Remember when the big status symbol used to be who had the smallest phone?
My iPhone 15 pro still has the overheating issues after 17.0.3, and the battery life is pretty poor. I really feel like I got ripped off.
Just bought the 15 pro and one week after I couldn't be happier, no heat issues, no overall issues, everything is perfect, the cameras are so fun and the 120hz on an Iphone just hits different, coming from an Iphone 12 this is such a big change

@@amirzam_the pro models has many other things going for them beside the zoom lens. It can shoot in RAW, better processor and ram, and many other things that I probably forgetting about.
People can buy the pro models for different reasons, it’s not only about the 120hz screen

I went from a 13 Pro Max to a 15Pro! The only con is just a shorter battery life than the pro max. I downsized because of it fits better in the hands and pockets.
I just did the exact same upgrade. Miss the bigger screen and significantly better battery but just so much lighter and easier to handle
Will be curious how the battery continues to feel. My wife is coming from a 75% iPhone 11 and the battery feels shot. She’d be pretty disappointed if her new phone’s battery is as miserable as her old one.

Believe me when saying, I owned almost all 2023 flagships: s23u, iphone 14pro, xiaomi 13u, oppo find x6pro, honor magic 5pro, pixel 7pro...and now iphone 15 pro max...so I have pretty good understanding about pros and cons of these devices.
I can only say that the worst overall by far were xiaomi and honor.
15 pro max is overall the best phone I've owned in 2023, followed by oppo and s23ultra, followed by pixel 7 pro.
I skipped Huawei due to lack of google services, 5G and snapdragon 8 gen 1 with ardeno 730.
Iphone 15 pro max is the best camera I have ever had in any phone, period!
No overheating issues, no lagging, no structural failures, no burn in screens...
But in the end it comes down to which ecosystem you prefer. For instance, I use specific apps for mucic which are only available on IOS.
got the 15 pro in 256 GBS in Natural Titanium from a 12 mini. i got it after the overheating update and its preformed perfectly after about a year of freezing and lagging on my older phone.
I just got my 15 pro a few days ago and I’m loving it I always had the pro max in the 13 and 14 but the pro feels nice in my hand not too big and not too small. I have learned that bigger isn’t always better 😊. I have my action set to turn on my flashlight because that’s what I use most often whether I’m looking for something or using the bathroom at night it’s nice to just hold the button for the flashlight.
One, my iPhone 15 Pro does not overheat. Two, most phones will break if you bend them hard enough, or break if you drop them without a case on, which is pretty bloody obvious. (I don’t know anyone that uses their phone without a case, whatever the brand) If shit worries you, take out Apple Care, or some kind of insurance, and move on with your life. I had the “bendgate” iPhone, the so called fragile IPad Pro, never broken any of them. I’ve had two Samsungs break. So guess what brand I continue to buy?
I have one and love the phone. However, the quality of the product isn't there anymore. I think it's because the iPhones are made in India now, where the labor laws are cheaper than in China. Mine is currently being serviced after only 60 battery cycles for a swollen battery. I went to the Apple store tonight and had a tech look at it. He said it was a software issue. I came back 30 minutes later, and it wasn't booting up. Two other techs noticed the screen was popping out and low and behold I have a swollen battery. I've owned iPhones since the iPhone 2, and in all my iPhones I've never had a hardware defect on the battery that Apple's diagnosis shows wasn't the issue. Now I have to wait for a repair, hopefully it can be fixed but I have my doubts.
I bought the 15plus. it has the longest battery life of any iPhone. also the camera a features are amazing “I got the black.
Bought the 15 pro natural/256GB. It’s been great. Pro Log has been fun to use. AOD is awesome coming from a 12 Pro max. Even better battery (optimization & newer)
when you go through your videos, the sound is turned off automatically. You have to press unmute all the time. It's annoying. It wasn't like that on my previous iPhone 11
I upgraded from the 13 pro max to 15PM mainly for simple video recording. I hope the upgrade was worth it.
Thanks for a no nonsense review. I’m sick of endless comparisons with other makes of smart phones. The operating system is also important I have tried others and still prefer Apple 👍👍
The dynamic island cutting into the screen when i'm trying to watch a video is the one and only reason I am skipping this year. The notch doesn't cut into the screen when watching a video, so it was a better solution. I'll wait till next year, maybe they raise the dynamic island a bit? Or do a punch hole that is less obtrusive?
I can't comment on the 15 Pro since I recently purchased the 14 and won't be upgrading for a while. I can say that I like benefitting from the trickle down effect I get when Apple releases patches and updates. And I always enjoy your videos.

I have an XS Max as well and my battery life is horrendous. I have to carry a charger everywhere I go. Definitely switching to the 15 pro max for the battery.

no issues for my unit, no heating problem and really best upgrade for me. its only a propaganda not to buy iphone15, i have iphone15promax and works fine full day used as im working in a shipping industry which is very functional.

The main point for me is battery, and the 15 Plus has insanely good battery compared to both Pro models. Unless you actively use the “Pro” software features and care a ton about a 120 hz screen that drains battery faster, the base 15s make the most sense for a majority of people.
I wish the 15s got the same camera. Thats why i want a pro model. But yes the 15 pluses battery life is unreal
Hey Kyle, I am quite in doubt between Pro and Pro Max because the battery life. I pretend to upgrade from my iphone 12, and I want a phone with a good battery (my 12 has terrible battery life) but I enjoy the size of the regular Pro. What you recommend me to do?
The 15 pro will already have significantly better battery life than your iphone 12 however the battery life on the pro max is still miles ahead of it.
The 15 Pro Max has the best battery life out of every IPhone but even if you get just the 15 Pro it will definitely feel like a big upgrade from your 12

On the other hand the Pro has a great size and when I need a bigger screen I already have an iPad. I have the 15 Pro Max and I haven't had any heating issues. Even when I play Diablo Immortal for an extended period of time it still runs quite cool compared to other phones that I have played it on (S22 Ultra, iPhone 13 Pro). I don't use Instagram so I haven't encountered that issue. Battery life has been awesome and I haven't managed to drain the battery completely in a day, even when I play Diablo. The camera has been phenomenal. I'm really impressed with the clarity, colours and HDR from the main sensor. The Ultra wide is decent but not amazing and the telephoto has been really good other than a few images I have gotten where there was a lot of noise in the image. I think it's probably a software thing that they can fix in an update. It just needs more AI smoothing and noise reduction I think, depending on the lighting and zoom levels. I am also massively impressed with the video quality, especially the stabilisation. I took a 5x video out of the window of a moving car the other day, using action mode, and the result was amazingly smooth. Also I have taken video with the main sensor while snowboarding and filming my girlfriend and it was crazy smooth. I showed my friend and part way through the video I reminded him that I am snowboarding and he was like "wow I didn't even think about that, it's so smooth". Very happy with the phone overall and its a noticeable improvement over the 13 Pro I had before.
I'm worried about the overheating and screen burn-in issues so I'm still waiting and looking for more longer term review.

My 15 plus earspeakers rattle at full volume which is frustrating, tried all the 15 series at the store and everything sounded same. Why is no one addressing this issue

I really feel that we should stop normalizing usage of phone cases, I have never used a case on any of my phones, 13P, 14P (including old Androids like Nexus 5, OnePlus 5 etc.)
Up until now I haven't faced any issues but I see there is an increasing amount of people suggesting and advertising phone cases, especially for iPhones, probably because they are expensive. A phone should be able to withstand minor impacts. The more we normalize cases, more brittle they are going to become in the future.
Personally I don't understand why would I buy an expensive phone and put it in a case, in that sense, talking about the phone's design, makes zero sense, because at the end of the day the case is going to decide the design.

I’m disappointed with my battery life. I’m only getting 5 1/2 - 6 hours screen time. About on par if not worse than my 13 Pro.
Imagine buying a phone, it doesn't even come with a charger, only a cable, and guess what, the cable is not capable of transferring data as fast as the USB-C. This must be a joke...

Coming from the 14promax, I downgraded to a Xs, anticipating the release of the 15pros.
BUT when they released, I just bought 14 pro instead, Max was too big.
The 15 has many downsides.
The coating on the Titanium easily scratches.
There were overheating issues on some devices.
The Glass easily cracks, imagine accidentally dropping it without a case, the 14 was more durable.
I originally planned to have the 15Pro my last iPhone as I am also tired upgrading every year, maybe the 16 would be it. If not, deym i'll just stick with this 14Pro.

The camera does cropping in MOST modes. There are only 3 real lenses. Everything else is a crop. Try to zoom to 77mm then look at it close. Compared to the Samsung s23 Ultra, it's crap. They should have added a fourth lens.

I think the iphone 16 pro is the better size for compact phones which is 6.4inch it is not small but compact bocz of the bezel makes it compact phone still that can easily fit on pocket unlike the brick of max pro. And for that size 6.4 inch so the battery will be bigger also and the result compact iphone 16 pro will last daily normal use for a day and a half night till close to midnight the battery performance

Won't upgrade until they have a true full screen display (rumor for next year) or we have a battery improvement. My 11 Pro Max would easily last two days for the first 1-2 years. I'm at 4 years right now and my battery health is better than my friend's one year old iPhone 14... not a good look for Apple.

I never understood the “limit my battery to 80 % out of the box” so that it does not degrade to 80 % over three years. What sense does that make? Like shooting myself in the foot now so that I can walk with crutches to protect my knee?
strange analogies aside, let me help you out - if you're at a desk or in a space where your phone is frequently on a charger (or you just don't use a ton of battery life throughout the day), having your battery percentage limited to 80% not only makes little consequence to you over the day because you rarely ever see your battery drain down, but it also increases the longevity of your battery if you plan on keeping it for a long time or retaining a higher resale value for when you go to sell it. People have been doing this with laptops for over a decade.

i'm still debating on weather to go for the pro max or pro. I currently have 11 pro max and sometimes it's too big. I would like to try the compact 6.1 size. I use my phone for consuming media, netflix, tiwtter etc. 11 pro max sometimes feel big but all in all i'm pretty use to it and often use it with one hand. But it still looks so biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig. Will i get use to the 6'1 if i go with the pro?!

Just got my 15 pro in coming from the 13 pro max. Definitely realized a big difference in overall comfort holding the phone and one handed use. It weighs less and I could notice the difference holding it in hand. I have pretty big hands as well but this feels like just the right size.
Exactly, I also dunno which one to get. I have iPhone XR and wanna transition to 15 Pro / Pro Max. I consume a lot of content on the phone (Manga, Netflix, UA-cam, reading articles). I originally went for the 15 Pro and switched to 15 Pro Max. I went to the Apple store like 10x times to see which one I like better but still unsure. In the end, I am getting the Max model. I will have it for 14 days and if its too big I will return it and buy the Pro model. PS. I would get the 15 Plus were it not for the 60 Hz display.

The pro is more future proof. I just upgraded from an 8 plus. Trust me, the usb 3.0 speeds alone are a huge deal for transferring photos if your storage runs out.
