- New Jersey police responded to an alleged armed robbery near the Atlantic City boardwalk in October 2023. The suspects were nowhere to be found when officers arrived. When police tracked down the two suspects, they played dumb before being arrested.

5:04 She says someone took her money and he was helping her get it back. True story or not, the officer didn't seem to react to this indicator that they were definitely involved in some altercation.
They’re most likely involved in a serious assault/possibly murder/attempted murder. The cops are obviously saving the questioning for after they’ve been identified & mirandised.
How do you expect him to react? If he shows any kind of real reaction to what she’s saying she’ll pick up on that queue and shut up. He’s doing exactly what he should do and that’s to act like this is normal conversation. That way she’ll continue talking.

Im from Atlantic city n.j born and raised. The violence here doesn't stops between pacific and Atlantic ave from South Carolina ave to Indiana u have to be really careful walking those streets rather be night or day for this incident to happen early in the morning tells u not safe

When the police approach you and say “there was a stabbing. The perp was seen wearing a red shirt.” And your response is “this is burgundy.” You stabbed the dude.
If you did not stab the dude, you would likely respond in a manner more suitable for the situation, such as “oh my god, that’s awful!,” or “when? Where?? Here??,” or even “that sucks for me, huh?”
Remember, if you are a psychopath and have no empathy this is the moment to PRETEND YOU DO. Law enforcement will notice if you respond in a particularly cold or detached manner.
