    • @wellingnoton
      @wellingnoton Рік тому +20

      @@henryhenrison7122 Solicitation IS illegal in many jurisdictions. Furthermore, the home owner doesn't have an obligation to tell you to leave their property, they can decide at any moment that you aren't allowed on their property anymore, whether it's the second you step on that property or hours after. It's the same reason that private businesses can refuse service to anyone at anytime for any reason. If a homeowner wanted to call the police on a door to door salesman, they could and they could be trespassed after warning if the police arrive and the salesman is still on the property. Door to door salesmen don't have a special right to go on other people's property, it is just an unwritten rule of society that if they are told that the property owner doesn't want them there, they leave. They would be arrested just like anyone else if the police showed up and the property owner says they want the person trespassed.

    "Im trying to treat you like a human being, but you keep acting stupid." As an Officer of nearly a decade, I felt that to my core.
    In or out of work, my whole life I have my own version of the golden rule: I treat all people with respect and kindness, until they give me a reason not to. Folks Ive interacted with several times know this, and often times when I show up they let their buddies know "Hey chill fool, this dude is cool, stop trippin", because they know Im not going to try and jam anyone up who doesnt need to be jammed up, and they know Im not going to come into things trying have a pissing contest with anyone. But there are so many people out there who will do whatever it takes to make the dumbest, hardheaded decisions when interreacting with Officers, and at the end of the day every man and woman in uniform is a human too. We have limits, we have emotions, and we have a limit to our patience just like anyone else. While we should be held to a higher standard of behavior than most, nobody should be expected to be held to a perfect or inhumane standard.
    This Officer here is likely not going to last much longer in Law Enforcement, thanks to the unrealistic expectations the culture is starting to demand from their fellow humans who choose to serve. But for now, I live vicariously through him. This is my spirit animal.

      In today's world it will never ever happen. Beating a homeless unarmed man with a bat will cause an uproar. I enjoy these cop videos and I read the comments. You'd be surprised how many people dislike cops and side with the criminal. I can hear it now, "he didn't have a weapon, so why did they beat him with a bat".

      @@Gameboy-Unboxings 😂 It’s funny because when you’re a normal productive member of society, the police serve your best interest. If someone hates cops it just means that they’re a lazy criminal that can’t get their shit together.
      Now stop playing with Gameboys you silly goose and get a girlfriend or something.
