I can't thank you enough. My perception towards neurophysiology is that its a hard course unit, but after listening to this lecture in 10mins, i thought to myself that I can actually understand this and pass my exam. Thank you for your service!
Well done with the video. Just a correction, the 4th cranial nerve is trochlear and the 5th is trigeminal. You said it the other way around. Great video though!!!
Hello doctor. I would like to make a correction on the arrangement of the cervical nerves in relation to the vertebrae. They are 7 cervical vertebrae but 8 nerves. Meaning the first nerve is located above the first vertebrae bone. And the 8th nerve will be between the seventh cervical vertebrae and first Thoracic. Meaning the application of a nerve being below the corresponding vertebral bone applies from the thoracic vertebrae caudally. I hope this information was useful. Correct me where necessary. Thank you.
This is a really nice review. One small correction if I may. Cranial nerves I and II are considered to be an extension of CNS not a part of PNS. I'd also like to add a cranial nerves mnemonic I found helpful - On Old Olympuses Towering Tops A Friendly Viking Grew Vines And Hops (every first letter being the first letter of a cranial nerve)
I just jumped on UA-cam seeking a good introduction to neurophysiology, and I guess am very lucky to meet your content. Love you tonnes.
Wow, thank you! Welcome aboard
