It's the monster smackdown franchise. It's always been a long standing critique that people hate all the human screen time in the monsterverse movies. Going back to that now would just feel like a terrible decision. Give the people their kaiju action movies. It's what they want and expected when going to see the movies. We got great godzila movies with serious themes from the Japanese side with shin or minus one. It doesn't feel right to wanna turn the monsterverse also into that
