Fab video love Llandudno spent a lot of time there when i was a kid. Mum would make a pan of scouse and we would drive up the great Orme she would heat up the scouse with a small gas camping stove and we would run riot. kids didn't need a lot in them days haha🤣🤣🤣
My wife grew up in Old Colwyn, absolutely lovely in the summer. If you can get to south stack lighthouse you won't be disappointed with the views, absolutely stunning.
I thought you would have mentioned the Great Orme! That was the big hill in the back ground. Never mind, looks like you had a great day out anyway. Watch out for those Seagulls, they can get quite aggressive especially when it comes to chips and ice cream. 😂
Im a propper Barnsley bloke. Thurnscoe born n bred. now i live in Colwyn bay. Love it so much here. so thank you for your vlogs. im in my fifties. keep the channel going. Love it.
Love llandudno and conwy... Beautiful places and a gateway to Snowdonia. A bit of a trek from Derbyshire but well worth it!! If you Google maps the promenade in nice, France.. it's pretty much identical to llandudno!!
Fantastic video as always, you lovely people always make me smile with your warmth and fun, you are both a breath of fresh air, Llandudno looks a really nice town, thanks for sharing another quality vlog ❤️👍
We have only just discovered you two in the last few weeks...watched loads of your vids.....you are both great together...love the banter....pub crawls..🤣🍻...looking forward to this episode...it's our stomping ground in our campervan.....love Anglesey aswel......keep the vids coming.....and keep smiling...............
Hey you two nice to see you in our neck of the woods.we dont live far from Llandudno .Alice in wonderland had a deep connection to Llandudno dating back to 1861 8yr old Alice Pleasance Liddell (the real Alice in wonderland) spent her summer holidays in Llandudno. Her holiday home 'penmorfa' was built on the wrst shore.Thats especially for you Helen. You need to go to Anglesey you'll love it. Enjoy yourselves 😊x
love watching you two, great couple....Helen is the free wheeling, positive, free spirit type ying, to your more dour, realistic, down to earth yang, lovely vibe exudes from you two, great couple. subscribed after seeing the first vlog
Hi James and Helen! I had no idea Llandudno was so picturesque. I'm especially loving the Victorian wrought iron canopies over the shops. When Helen said she could imagine Victorian ladies walking down the promenade, I could picture it too. I think it's fab the amount of subscribers you meet out and about on your adventures, look how far you have come! All your success is thoroughly deserved, the cinematography on your vids is top drawer. Am I right in saying Helen is a glass half full kind of girl, whereas you are more of a glass half empty kind of guy? It's lovely seeing you both meet in the middle 🤗 Ta-Ra for now (gfta) 😊🇬🇧
Glad you both liked Llandudno. Had some great breaks there over the years. Shame you didn't walk around the Orme or go up it. One of the best wetherspoons too.
Always been impressed with Llandudno nice sunny weather because the Gulf Stream passes through .The down side of it gets over crowded and not very good for parking .Looking forward to a visit soon but not holding my breath Helen like me fetish for handbags and hats
You're welcome Sue, it was lovely to meet you all too. We love North Wales 😍 maybe James just a tiny bit less after I dragged him up Yr Wyddfa 🤣 you will see tomorrow 🙈 I did say at any point we can turn around and go back! 😄 Xx
We've just landed home after a very long weekend in Conwy, first time there, we definitely agree with you, loved it. We had a day in Llandudno also and were also impressed. Keep your fantastic videos coming ❤
Thanks to you both for bringing back to me a childhood memories😢 of a very rare family holiday. No money to talk of in those days so holidays were few and far between, but trip to Llandudno and fishing of that pier also trip up the great orme on tramway . both parent gone now but thanks for bringing back to me the good times with them. Helen showing us here wee wee thing then you panning camera to a bottle of water got me thinking 😂
I've probably been within a mile of everywhere in England and Scotland but I've only had one night on mushrooms near Cardiff 38 years ago. I've no excuses.
We have also just found you two great people! We are catching up. What a great laugh you have given us.! Thank you so much and keep up the good work! Sandra and Pete ❤😊
Llandudno is a brilliant place to visit with the warm air and the great smell of candy floss and the crowds of visitors. Come back in the summer and you will love it 🎉❤
My lasting memory of the place is walking around there in 1971 and a seagull decided to let loose over my mate. It was like he had a full tin of white emulsion tipped over his head and Levi jacket.
Another great video. Llandudno was me and better halfs first holiday together. It doesn't seem as nice as was , which seems a shame ( I'm going back to the 90's). We have lots of lovely memories there, we got married at Conwy. Sending lots of love to you and Helen❤❤
Wales is beautiful, my daughter went to Uni in Bangor and we often visited her and camped near Caernarfon with our trailer tent. Had lots of fun things to do, went down the slate mines, Chairlift up to the Great Orme, The Zoo, zip lines and Anglessey is also very beautiful. Really should go back one day, she is going back to see her Uni friends at Easter, it will always have a special place in her heart as she met her boyfriend at Uni and is getting married next year 😄
Rodee carpark chester lol, llandudno lovely place in the summer as most of north Wales is...Betws-Y-coed is really nice and the Royal Oak Pub is a nice place for a meal..
Love Llandudno. On the way up to the Great Orme by the Tram station there is a pub called 'Kings Head'', if you've not been in and are still in the area get up there, such a fantastic pub it's worth visiting Llandudno for!
It's "clandidno". If you venture onto Anglesey, let me know and we'll buy you a pint. Like all UK resorts, Llandudno's best days are behind it, but it's aged a lot better than most. Another nice video. 👍
Llandudno was owned by the Mostyn family. The majority of the properties in the town are lease hold. No building on the main road that runs through the town can be higher than the width of the road. Helen you need to research Llandudno. Xx
EY-UP JAMES ‘n’HELEN , I have never been to Wales despite many offers and invitations , life’s “curve balls “ and all that. I will go one day but until then, I am well on board with you two on this trip. Looking forward to seeing the mountains and hills, you look upon. As you go from place to place, can you please let us know what you think of the driving experience as well as your destinations. Best wishes as always, MICK. 🤝👍
Been going to Llandudno since I was about 3. Not been recently though - nice to see nothing's changed much. Lovely atmosphere created by the Victorian architecture and seaside location. Now you need to climb the Great Orme for the views.
Near us in Cap d'Agde, at Balaruc 🇨🇵on the Étang de Thau, famous for its oyster 🦪 beds, the seagulls are notorious for attacking the trays of opened oysters carried by bow-tied, aproned waiters as they leave the restaurant to deliver seafood to patrons on the terrace in the sun. Scary buggers 😮😱🙄. Llandudno looks great 👍+1.
Looked like you had a lovely time, poor James you will be having nightmares about yr walk, ps u can always wimp out and take the train 😂. Looking forward to seeing the rest of yr week’s adventure. Seeetheeee Maxx
If you go to Llandudno on the first May Bank Holiday it is the Victorian Weekend and people dress up in Victorian clothes. Steam engines and there is also the Transport festival all weekend. It’s a great time to visit. 😀👍🏻❤️

I remember driving my first car up the Great Orme. ( A ford Anglia) it just made it Thanks for the post. Good memories of a few days here and Rhyl and Colwyn bay
Just laughing at seagulls! When we were there in the same exact spot a women had a bag of chips and she was buried in them! You could not see her for the frenzy of gulls! It was quite scary really!! They went mental!! lol
Brilliant vid and really enjoyed viewing. Just frustratingly short and.could.of.been another 15-20 mins .was really disappointed that you didn't film your coffee on the end of the pier and show the arcades .also cannot believe you went to Llandudno and didn't do the great orme tramway which is well worth doing and gives you a fantastic view from the top of the whole town and bay .cant wait for next episode .
Sorry, I had to edit it short because my Internet connection has been poor and it would've been too long to upload. I filmed the cafe at the end of the pier but unfortunately there was loud music so I couldn't use the footage because of copyright restrictions 😕

Hi James and Helen, thank you for this video as i was one of those people who recommended Llandudno to you. Obviously you only touched the edges due to your limited time there but it is a pity you did not go up the Great Orme on the Tram or the Cable car. Great views and a great drinking hole dedicated to a famous boxer called Randy Turpin up on the top. We are off there on the b19th April for 3 nights and looking forward to it. It will be my 14/15th time there and i never tire of the place. If ever you go back there then find a pub called The Cottage Loaf where you will enjoy great food and drink. Unless you know it is there, you would never find it as it is down a back street ..Many thanks again.
You didn't have time to do the tram up the Great Orme, never mind you enjoyed it. We are off there in a few weeks on a coach trip and visiting Betsy Coed and Portmadoc.
Hi there guys if the van is rocking don't come nocking

The Great Orme in Llandudno provided the world's richest source of copper from about 4,000 years ago until the 1800s - not many people know that !!😃😃
