Top tip to only use one ddr memory stick. This seems to have been my issue on the x570 Aorus pro. I had no problems using the gigabyte Q-flash to update the bios in the blind. However i had that diagnostic light on the motherboard indicating a boot error, which briefly flashed on the dram light. Anyway i copied what you did, and only placed one ram stick in the 2nd slot. This allowed it to recognise a basic gpu. Which showed a screen requiring mouse input, and the final stages of the bios update. It finally posted ;) I was just about to buy a cheaper cpu for its built in graphic to test. At least i know this motherboard and the cpu are working fine. Next stage: getting this thing to boot my os. Thanks again. (leaving these comments where others will find it ;)
@@Lawson1611 The first time i did this, i went through all the faff of removing memory and CPU. By the time I observed the motherboard diagnostic lights, I'd uploaded the bios several times, without removing the CPU or the memory. The motherboard uploaded the new firmware from the USB perfectly well without removing the CPU, or the memory. I would though advise you only have one memory stick and a basic GPU to boot after the update.
@@chrisliddiard725 Yep thanks Chris I was having trouble with an x570 board but it had actually took the bios update but needed initial post with one stick of ram in the second slot. Been fine since. Thanks for the reply.
@@Ohhh_Ghost yes for a bit so what I did is took apart my whole pc trying to figure out the problem testing every part and finally figured out that you have to turn your pc on then go to the back and hit the power supply switch off then turn it back on and keep doing that until it boots the lights should go from orange to red to white what I would recommend if you get it on is getting in your bios and seeing if everything is good lmk how it goes

Thank you so much I was trying to fix it since 3pm now its 12am I literally started crying when it worked, I didn’t know you had to hold the flashback button. Thats a new lesson for me patience is key, i would always skip through videos and now i didn’t, i even prayed to god.

Apologies for not explaining properly, You need to use laptop or other device to make those file to update your bios. Since you cannot use your PC because its bios is corrupted.

@Clan TV you dont have to run the renamer. you can also rename the file yourself and make sure the drive is formatted to fat32 and fat32 should also work on mac.

I have the exact same problem. I tried everything including buying a new RAM stick but the DRAM DEBUG is still persistent. Well I tried everything except updating the bios. It seems to solve the problem for you, I hope it solves mine as well. One question, do you really need to unplug all the components? (cpu, Ram, vga)
For bios? Depends … I flash mine onto Asus MB whilst switched off … you only need usb stick with newest bios & flash port with flash button. But did not work here! Was not ram either!
2 motherboards with the same problem, so I returned the motherboard and bought an MSI and I no longer had problems. Gigabyte makes very low quality motherboards, it has been dragging this problem since 2017, because friends that I built Gigabyte motherboards for also had problems with the DRAM LED and did not give video, then I managed to get it to work stably, but sometimes it would freeze, giving problems with the ram again.
@@ClanTVChannel One memory was defective, but they changed it, and the motherboard kept doing the same thing, only the A2-B2 slot worked, the A1-B1 did not work. When I mounted it, it worked fine for a week, and from one day to the next, the DRAM light was on and it restarted in a loop. I have tried updating the BIOS, cleaning the CPU contacts, RAM, etc... nothing at all. The 2 RAMs that did not work on the Gigabyte now work perfectly on the MSI B760 Gaming plus on an i5 14400, even with XMP activated.

I have a Sindoh 3D 3DWOX 3D printer and when I inserted a USB flash drive to update the firmware, there was a power outage. Now only the Sindoh presentation screen is displayed and the image is frozen there. I have disconnected the printer from the power and even removed the internal battery from the motherboard but it remains the same. There is no way it does anything. It has been left frozen. I'm afraid the firmware has become corrupt. I have observed that the motherboard has some jumpers, I don't know if any of them have any use. Can you help me please? Hello, I have purchased an Asus rog crosshair x670e hero motherboard, a ryzen 9950x, 64G 2x32 6000mhz ram, 1200w aorus power supply, and aorus waterforce x360 cooling, when I turn on the computer the MB the Qcode gives me the 0d error and it does not give me image on the screen, I cannot enter the bios because the screen is black, I have removed and inserted the RAM, I have tried with only one in a slot and nothing, I have checked all the cables in case there were any loose, I have changed the pcie cables of the card with new ones but nothing, everything is ok, but the Qcode 0d and an orange led on Dram, shows the damn error. I think the stock motherboard works at 5200mhz and that could be what's causing the problem. But I don't know what else to do now... 😢

I am trying this soon, just built a new Ryzen 7 7700 based system with the ASUS TUF Gaming X670E-PLUS Motherboard. 32GB of DDR 5, and a Samsung EVO 980, 2 TB M.2 SSD.. No boot no post, nothing on the screen. Full time yellow light, I though my RAM was bad, will try this. Do they even test the boards before shipping?? Never had this issue with MSI or Gigybyte.

You must go through all possible steps … remove dram … try one after anither, refit cpu, gpu, remove & re-attach cables MB, cmos reset, bios flash … everything!

This works only on this motherboard TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS , beause it has a switch for bios updating on the back, where the io shield is.....NOT EVERY motherboard has it......
I need help, after clear CMOS, the display work at BIOS page (latest bios). But after optimised default setting and save & exit BIOS, the PC still on but display doesn’t work. I realised the dram rgb working and on BIOS also detected. But the Q-LED dram(yellow light) is on. How to fix it?
unfortunately this happened to me with a asus tuf x570 pro wifi.... even did flashback many times, didnt do a thing.... still solid orange led. sent mobo back for replacement.... if new board does it... Ill just try a new board

Tested different RAM thinking it was RAM but not the ram...so will give this method a try. My board is revision that does not have the BIOS FB button, grrr!! So I am SOL. Need to remove CPU and install older CPU, than flash....what a pain.

Can I do this while keeping the pc intact? Someone else built it for me and honestly don't know enough to take it apart and put it back together myself. I can take out the ram and gpu with confidence and that's about it.

Same exact problem, but the only difference my motherboard won’t pass the flashback i tried 2 USBs i make sure that on MBR and under 32GB and FAT32 i even create a small partition and format it on FAT, without solution the flashback always stuck at solid green light 😞
Give some basic info man … how long do you actually wait? Minutes, hours, days? Just insert stick … keep flash button pressed for 5-10 sec till it flashes … then wait … if it becomes solid … just wait giving it as much as needed … and if its an hour … mine changed status after a couple of hours. Try detaching everything else. What happens when you turn it back on?

@@pritam1009 what works for me is removing the little bios battery for a good while 10 mins but honestly its a temp fix because if I turn my pc off I have to do this step over again so I just don't turn my pc off atm

can update the bios again, but whenever I turn on the pc, it is only with the LED on, points to DRAM, the CPU cooler turns on normally. no more videos. So the problem is with the motherboard?
Things you shoud try 1. Cmos reset ua-cam.com/video/P1CP341mN9o/v-deo.html 2. Update bios 3. Use other ram or swap ram 4. Use other procesor Ussually Dram led indicates bios, ram or processor error.
Gigabyte B560M Aorus Pro AX WiFi here. Was working fine for the past few months. This morning it refused to show POST. Changed RAM, reseated CPU and checked the CPU cooler. PSU is a new ASUS ROG Strix 750W. Even removed the NVMe SSD to troubleshoot. Removed battery for 15 minutes. Cleared CMOS thrice. Changed power cables and wall outlet. Nothing…….
Completely unnecessary to remove your processor and ram, just update your bios, removing the peripherals while updating it isn't required and just increase the workload for nothing.

Hi you need to download the bios file, i haven't try to download it in phone and rename it manually. But you can try if your phone has an otg function to transfer it in usb flashdrive.
Many mb’s have flash function … that is done whilst pc is switched off. Sorry to say this … but its your problem how you get access to second pc to download bios! I used my laptop.

I had the same problem but I try ccmos won't work cuz I enable XMP and clean my PC then it won't work well this way work although I try to update bios won't work I didn't remove the CPU but removed the ram and insert one and a new ram but nothing
To flash bios you do not even have to switch pc on … to fix it you definitely must have access to a second pc at least to download bios … no way around this! Sorry, but for you to solve!

I got one of the weirdest problems ever, my brother asked me to try out two rams that he wants to sell online so i took out my 4 rams and plugged in his the PC worked just fine i took some pictures for my brother, plugged back mine and now the Dram led on the motherboard start blinking with no signal on the monitor, i took down my rams tried them on a different PC it works just fine i double checked if the rams are sitting properly and they do, i updated the bios, reset the cmos, cleaned the rams and the sockets still having the same problem my motherboard is an Asus P8z77-v lx
My cpu and dram debug lights keep flashing back and forth with it being a quick flash on the cpu debug light and a long blink on dram light. After swapping my ram sticks multiple times and reseating cpu too many times the result is the same. Even flashing my bios it doesn’t boot into bios. Is my mother just dead???
@@demonwolf1133I setup a barebones test bench. Wanted to isolate my motherboard from maybe not being grounded right in the case. This did work for me and my crappy test bench booted into windows. I never really sniffed it out to a single issue. I just assumed maybe I had a loose power cable or maybe I had too much pressure on my cpu from my AIO. I did reseat everything while putting the test bench together and double checked all my psu cables.

I haven't tried the effin bios,
I downloaded directly in the asus site and Yes in this process you need PC or Laptop to download and convert the file.
I haven't try in macbook I'm not sure if it will work since you need to run the bios renamer in CMD.

I'm not familiar with MSI i think there is different process to update your bios,but i recommend to try reset bios first or remove cmos battery

Hello, I have purchased an Asus rog crosshair x670e hero motherboard, a ryzen 9950x, 64G 2x32 6000mhz ram, 1200w aorus power supply, and aorus waterforce x360 cooling, when I turn on the computer the MB the Qcode gives me the 0d error and it does not give me image on the screen, I cannot enter the bios because the screen is black, I have removed and inserted the RAM, I have tried with only one in a slot and nothing, I have checked all the cables in case there were any loose, I have changed the pcie cables of the card with new ones but nothing, everything is ok, but the Qcode 0d and an orange led on Dram, shows the damn error. I think the stock motherboard works at 5200mhz and that could be what's causing the problem. But I don't know what else to do now... 😢

You need to update the bios as advised in your MB’s manual …

I am trying this soon, just built a new Ryzen 7 7700 based system with the
ASUS TUF Gaming X670E-PLUS Motherboard. 32GB of DDR 5, and a Samsung EVO 980, 2 TB M.2 SSD.. No boot no post, nothing on the screen. Full time yellow light, I though my RAM was bad, will try this. Do they even test the boards before shipping?? Never had this issue with MSI or Gigybyte.

You must go through all possible steps … remove dram … try one after anither, refit cpu, gpu, remove & re-attach cables MB, cmos reset, bios flash … everything!

This works only on this motherboard TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS , beause it has a switch for bios updating on the back, where the io shield is.....NOT EVERY motherboard has it......

unfortunately this happened to me with a asus tuf x570 pro wifi.... even did flashback many times, didnt do a thing.... still solid orange led.
sent mobo back for replacement.... if new board does it... Ill just try a new board

Tested different RAM thinking it was RAM but not the ram...so will give this method a try. My board is revision that does not have the BIOS FB button, grrr!! So I am SOL. Need to remove CPU and install older CPU, than flash....what a pain.

Can I do this while keeping the pc intact? Someone else built it for me and honestly don't know enough to take it apart and put it back together myself. I can take out the ram and gpu with confidence and that's about it.

To flash bios you do not need to remove anything!

How about clear Cmos battery and reset bios? You can try that also or try install 1 ram at a time or use other ram if you have

Same exact problem, but the only difference my motherboard won’t pass the flashback i tried 2 USBs i make sure that on MBR and under 32GB and FAT32 i even create a small partition and format it on FAT, without solution the flashback always stuck at solid green light 😞
Give some basic info man … how long do you actually wait? Minutes, hours, days? Just insert stick … keep flash button pressed for 5-10 sec till it flashes … then wait … if it becomes solid … just wait giving it as much as needed … and if its an hour … mine changed status after a couple of hours. Try detaching everything else. What happens when you turn it back on?

@@pritam1009 what works for me is removing the little bios battery for a good while 10 mins but honestly its a temp fix because if I turn my pc off I have to do this step over again so I just don't turn my pc off atm

can update the bios again, but whenever I turn on the pc, it is only with the LED on, points to DRAM, the CPU cooler turns on normally. no more videos. So the problem is with the motherboard?
Maybe try to update again with latest bios or try 1 ram only if you only have 1 stick
Things you shoud try

3. Use other ram or swap ram
4. Use other procesor
Ussually Dram led indicates bios, ram or processor error.

Gigabyte B560M Aorus Pro AX WiFi here. Was working fine for the past few months. This morning it refused to show POST. Changed RAM, reseated CPU and checked the CPU cooler. Completely unnecessary to remove your processor and ram, just update your bios, removing the peripherals while updating it isn't required and just increase the workload for nothing.

Hi you need to download the bios file, i haven't try to download it in phone and rename it manually. But you can try if your phone has an otg function to transfer it in usb flashdrive.

I had the same problem but I try ccmos won't work cuz I enable XMP and clean my PC then it won't work well this way work although I try to update bios won't work I didn't remove the CPU but removed the ram and insert one and a new ram but nothing

To flash bios you do not even have to switch pc on … to fix it you definitely must have access to a second pc at least to download bios … no way around this! Sorry, but for you to solve!

I got one of the weirdest problems ever, my brother asked me to try out two rams that he wants to sell online so i took out my 4 rams and plugged in his the PC worked just fine i took some pictures for my brother, plugged back mine and now the Dram led on the motherboard start blinking with no signal on the monitor, i took down my rams tried them on a different PC it works just fine i double checked if the rams are sitting properly and they do, i updated the bios, reset the cmos, cleaned the rams and the sockets still having the same problem my motherboard is an Asus P8z77-v lx

My cpu and dram debug lights keep flashing back and forth with it being a quick flash on the cpu debug light and a long blink on dram light. After swapping my ram sticks multiple times and reseating cpu too many times the result is the same. Even flashing my bios it doesn’t boot into bios. Is my mother just dead???

@@demonwolf1133I setup a barebones test bench. Wanted to isolate my motherboard from maybe not being grounded right in the case. This did work for me and my crappy test bench booted into windows. I never really sniffed it out to a single issue. I just assumed maybe I had a loose power cable or maybe I had too much pressure on my cpu from my AIO. I did reseat everything while putting the test bench together and double checked all my psu cables.
